Recommendation of the Tormek SVS-50 Grinding Device
Tormek tools come at a price. However, the old saying that you get what you pay for is true here. This tool has solved the issue I have had with grinding a skew wood turning chisel. It makes a very clean grind and would recommend this for any Tormek style devices. You will need the associated measuring tool, but you can use this with other Tormek grinding tools.

Not essential but nearly
Excellent well made piece of kit. Works well on my record grinder as well As some of my tools had been ground to non standard angles does take time for the correct bevel to be obtained. However once this time has been invested very quick every time after to get a razor edge

Another must have for the Tormek
If, like me you went for the Tormek sharpening system, which, i beleive, is the best on the market; you soon realised that there were many accessories to buy, yes they are costly, but the quality is there,with this little gem you will get your skew chisels as sharp as a razor, and at exactly the correct angle

Expensive and parts missing
Tormek jigs are very good quality, although a bit expensive. One star is harsh, but it reflects my disappointment having waited a while to receive it, only to find that there were parts missing when it arrived. It was very poorly packed, so it’s no wonder parts fell out and were lost. So, now it’s on its way back to Germany.

Habe dieses Tool zu meinem Naßschleifer von Record-Power gekauft. Passt auch für andere Naßschleifer unterschiedlicher Durchmesser. Damit und mit dem Tormek tts-100 kann ich jetzt endlich den Winkel und Abstand zum Schleifstein perfekt einstellen. Damit erziele ich nun sehr gute Schleifergebnisse bei meinen Drechseleisen.

Comme un précédent commentaire, je confirme que c'est chère pour se que c'est... Mais après quelques entrainement, c'est assez pratique pour affûter mes gouges
