Q: How are the tires on rough terain , gravel ? cobblestone ? looking for a not so bumpy ride if walking patient in central park ?

Huge fan of this chair; however, it has hard rubber tires (as most do) and no suspension. Cobblestones are not fun. Minimally, add a cushion to the seat. Still, big fan of the chair!

Q: How wide is it ? (For going through doorways)

Do not, under any circumstances, buy this wheel chair. The construction is beyond shoddy. It is dangerous. The first chair broke (handles & 4 BOLTS) within 3 months of purchase. The replacement chair literally fell apart (a wheel collapsed ) with my 145lb daughter in it about 3wks after we Received it. Karman refused to talk to me or help at all when I was looking to buy replacement bolts for first chair. When the 2nd collapsed Karman said the chair was produced to Amazons specifications & hung up. the buyer at amazon (Lauren) told me other than send another chair, they would do nothing. And literally told me to stop emailing her when I was exclaiming my distress over Karmens replies. The 2nd chair & the amazon Emails are now with my attorney.

Q: The 26 inch from wheel to wheel is to big for the bathroom. Any ideas, I like this chair!

Amazon sells "handicap" hinges that will widen the doorway space by at least 1.5 to 2 inches. Helped me access a more narrow bathroom doorway. Not difficult for an Handi-person to install.

Q: The description says it weighs 24 pounds without the footrest. How much is total weight with the footrest?

Just weighed the foot rest. Each one weighs 27oz. So the total (for 2 foot rests) adds 3.4 lbs.
