Before I purchased, I made sure the model number was compatible with my weather station - mine is a Lacrosse T85647v2 and says it is compatible with a TX141TH-Bv3 sensor on the back of the unit. When I first put batteries into this new sensor, it didn't sync automatically, so I followed the instructions in this product listing by removing the batteries in both, then putting fresh batteries in both and it immediately synced. My sensor is in the crawlspace monitoring the humidity! Works great!

It was so nice to be able to get the remote without having to buy the full system. My system works just like new. In fact, I have two screens and this one remote sends out a signal that operates on both screens.

Connecting to weather stations was a breeze.Need to keep from direct or wind driven rain, mine stopped working after a storm . It took 2 days to dry out and needed new batteries . Moved to new location and is working.

So years ago my dad bought the whole system and everything was working fine. I inherited everything and about 6 months ago this exact sensor stopped working (after working perfectly for closer to a decade). It felt like all hope was lost because it was a old device and I thought that they wouldn't still be making these. When I found that they were, I was thrilled. I ordered one shortly after and the one that arrived connected quickly to the device we already had! Now we can finally see again, from the kitchen inside, what the temp and humidity is in real time outside. It took literally a second to connect and it has been working great! I'm very happy with my purchase and I think you will be, too.

I purchased my first LaCrosse Weatherstation (Model: C85845V4) in 2021 and loved it until the day about two months ago when I woke up and discovered the outdoor temperature and humity values had changed into pairs of hyphens. I tried all the trouble shooting suggestions in the manual but nothing but bubkas (YIdish for hyphens). So, as luck would have it, I figured I would see what Amazon wanted for a new one. And there was this replacement outdoor sensor for about $21 and after reading compatibilities to make sure it would mate with my dispay unit, I ordered. I did exactly what was suggested on the Item description of the Wireless Outdoor Temperature & Humidity Sensor and after installing new batteries in the outdoor unit within 3-4 minutes the hyphens metamorphosed into beautiful degrees F and humidity % and I am one happy camper. Living in Mobile, AL on the Gulf of Mexico, outdoor temperatures determine how you dress while outdoors and when the next rain is expected so you take your umbrella when leave home.

LaCrosse weather station stopped showing outside temperature. All trouble shooting failed. But replacing the outside sensor did the trick.

No matter what I do this won't connect as the 2nd or 3rd sensor. I get it to replace my #1 sensor, but I can't get both sensors to work conncurrently. I have a WS-9160Uv3.
