This product was advertised to leave your hair soft and manageable. I am happy to state that it did all that and more. It has a pleasant smell and produces a nice lather. It left my natural kinky 4c hair tamed and relaxed. Seriously, I couldn't be happier. I will use it exclusively from now on. At first I used it to wash my hands and noticed how gentle it was and it left my hands soft. I applied it to my hair put a shower cap over it for an hour and then removed the product in the shower dried with a tee shirt and applied conditioner. My hair appears straighter, longer and healthier. It hasn't look like this since I was a young girl. I highly recommend it and give it the highest rating.

This truely is the best shampoo!! It not only smells amazing, it leaves an incredible shine to your hair. If you have dry or damaged hair or healthy hair, this is the best! It will bring out the very best in your hair and I think strengthen it as well. If not overnight just try for a month and see the results for yourself!! This is top of the line. I'm so glad I can get this on amazon as I used to only be able to get it in an organic section at Roseaurs in Spokane.

Love this shampoo, this is a great value. I bought the 3 pack of this shampoo separately to have the small bottles, to replace an old bottle (bought at a health food store) that had been dropped so the cap was damaged. I like that there isn't a bazillion ingredients in this shampoo; it works very well and it gentle to your hands and hair. I'm Asian, and I remember my mom telling me that when she was a kid she remembered people taking some kind of fruit from a tree, squishing the fruit, and using the resulting stuff to wash their hair. She said it didn't lather, but it got the hair very clean. I wonder if that is the "Shikai extract (acacia concinna)" that is in this shampoo. And oh, this shampoo does lather.

The product arrived on time and packaged well. I was expecting an unscented shampoo, or at least one that doesnt smell like it had added scent. Product states that it is unscented. On the ingredients list it lists “natural fragrance” so it is NOT unscented as the listing states. I need no fragrance added, natural or not. My kids will use this and I will order something else for myself. It is a good product. My kids hair is clean and it takes the grease out of two rough and tumble age 13 boys, so I like it for them. They like the scent.

Been using it for years. Used to be golden, honey-like. This latest gallon was pearly white. I can't find any info about the change.

Because of my experience with other Shikai products I bought the full gallon without trying it first. This is the best shampoo I have ever used. Well worth the money. I have fine hair and a lot of it. Don't need body - just moisture and healthy. I live in the desert and don't even need conditioner anymore. Better without it. What else can i say? This is the best shampoo ever, you'll see!

The bulk size is definitely a plus for this item. The shampoo itself is good. I never used it before, but I decided to just go for it because I have really short normal/thick hair and it doesn't matter too much to me other than to clean. I just need basic shampoo and this does the trick... And apparently it's also "all natural" which is a bonus.
