Excellent, but needs the correct tools to apply
Read, the instructions, buy the correct tools and this stuff is easy to apply and gives excellent results. Clean the window, clean it again, scape off any bits of paint and marks, and then clean it again! Do not try to install this without the tools, and my final tip is to use Johnsons baby shampoo mixed with water as the spray lubricant for the film, it doesn't damage the film and makes it easy to reposition.

not an amazing job as there's a few tiny bubbles but only ...
Well packaged (rolled in cardboard tube with instructions). First time used it,I think I did a decent job, not an amazing job as there's a few tiny bubbles but only on close inspection. The film can easily crease if not handled with care so make sure before you take it out of the tube you're prepared with the necessary tools: you have an empty spray bottle, washing up liquid, sponge, table large enough to roll the sheet onto without it overlapping the sides of the table otherwise it'll crease easily, Stanley knife (though I bought the special tool accessory which came with a blade and credit card size plastic implement with a soft material edge that is for smoothing the film out when applying it to the pane), measuring tape, easy peel tape (I used the cream one sided tape that I tend to use if painting/decorating a wall)Privacy effect - Depends on the light outside and the light inside as to how the film works when one looks through the window. In the evening, obviously when it's dark outside, and lights are on inside the room, the panes are at full mirror effect when looking at them from the inside of the room, (so it's like having a mirror on the inside of your window pane at those times which is bit strange but blinds are down at that time anyway). If the lights are on inside, and one looks at the window from the outside - when the light strength is stronger inside compared to outside - one can see in... to a certain degree. However it does the job with privacy most of the time so I'm satisfied with the product. When cutting it to your desired size, be generous with the margin because my first attempt resulted in the length not fitting the full length of the window pane, leaving a gap not covered by the film which I had to "fill" in. So I'd leave more of a margin that advised in the instructions as you can always cut it away - much easier than filling in.Hope that helps and makes some sense!

Really good, recommended for privacy
Make sure you get a fitting kit, best 5 quid you can spend, take time with the preparation and read the instructions a few times and it goes on a dream. We have a large upstairs window 1m x 1m that opens top and side so it is difficult to have a blind on it so our incredibly nosey neighbours love to look up at it every time we go past. This is great, you can stand behind it and wave your arms and not be seen and from the outside its not obvious it just looks like the light is working against you and reflecting the sky back, does not look like an obvious mirror. Slightly darkens the view from inside, a bit like weak sunglasses but that's a small price to pay for privacy. Just something to add, at night if you turn the light on everyone can see inside from outside.

EASY as long as you READ the instructions and BUY the tools!!!
I ordered 3 lengths of 2m x 1m for a pair of French Doors, plus 3 windows in my study, all of which are South-facing, so get too warm in the sun.You MUST read the instructions first... and at least TWICE... and also have pre-bought a squeegee or similar, and have mixed-up some 'slip' of washing-liquid in a spray bottle, plus a sharp knife. As long as you follow the instructions, it's EASY to do, even a 2m x 1m window, single-handed!!!The fools who say it's "difficult" clearly didn't READ and/or didn't BUY the necessary tools.

great for privcy.
Have bought this for my holiday home to protect my furniture. Previously bought larger size for patio window. Works well keeping out sun but great for privacy.will definitely buy more for my other windows. Only gave it 4 stars as it is a bit difficult to put on and creases easily which don't come out.
