Actually better than I thought it would be. Male connector needed to be pushed down in place. First set working very nicely. You can use a stripper crimper pliers and fold the ears and it gives a nice connection. It's very good pull out nothing came loose on a 18 wire

Reviews note the contacts you put in and crimp are a bit delicate. They are, that's true. Still, I think you can make a usable pigtail socket of these (I did). Re the discussion in these reviews about the crimping tool you use... You don't really need a tool, you can use a needle nose pliers and get it right. Overall, handy kit that's very cheap. If you care a lot about such things in your build you may want to spend more for a little better robustness.

Absolutely a great product with an assortment that comes at a value. I purchased so that I can plug and unplug a snow plow controller that is normally hardwired between the interior cab through the firewall to the power supply and snow plow. Easy to use, anyone can wire this up with basic tools. This plug set up allows me to disconnect the joystick controller and pack it away when not in use.

This was a gift for my son-in-law. He had it on his wish list. He was happy to receive it. He is rebuilding a car from his teen years and would need it for the wiring.

The connectors are not waterproof but water resistant. The rubber/vinyl plugs do not prevent water from penetrating the connectors. The plastic housing can not be installed when temperatures are around 0C as the plastic becomes brittle and will/does break. Could not find any info on the amperage rating for the connectors so upgraded lights to LEDSs on tractor to reduce amperage . Recommend using electrolytic grease on connectors to minimize potential for corrosion if connectors are exposed to moisture
