Highly suggest having the 2” pvc out if possible. This is a monster of a sump pump! It does kinda sound like a toilet flushing when it drains our our, but I don’t mind because I know it’s working ;) this has kept up and kept the water off the basement floor through some really heavy rains for days in a row! Worth every penny so far!

It is powerful. It pumps out in seconds however it is louder than your typical 1/3 HP. It isn't on as long.

It works awesome. My basement always dry since we installed this. ThI really is the basement watchdog. The other sumpump didn't work as well as this.
