Good for restaurant setup
Purchased a few items (about $1K worth) for a job at a large chain of stores selling breakfast food, 4 capital letters, you know.Anyway, 2 amps, 20 speakers, 3 volume controls, and this gooseneck mic, cable. Mic was easy to setup, allowing them to announce lobby+outdoor and amps ducked the audio automatically. Nice setup, easy $4K job.

Happy School Principal
This gooseneck model worked out quite well. We went thru two previous models of the Bogen version which had no indicator that let the enduser know the mic was on or engaged. This model has a three “bong” bell indicator once the TALK bottom is pushed. And a red LED light. It also has a three “bong” alternate tone that lets the listener know the announcement has concluded. The Bogen model had none of these features and the school complained that the mic would often be left open or on continuously.

Extremely cheaply made. Chime volume toggle broke before first use.
Got this to go with their rock matrix 4 amp. While that seems to be working like a charm,I bought this and immediately I opened it the chime volume toggle broke off.I opened it up and realized this is a very very very cheap construction. Build quality is as poor as it gets. For a $50 microphone I was expecting at least the barest minimum.
