Fujifilm Instax SP-3 Color Mobile Printer - White

I've owned this for 3 years now, and it might be the single greatest joy-spreading gadget I have.Pros:- Printing is quick and seeing photos developing adds that fun mystery element back into photographs.- The square aspect ratio helps make your prints look good and well-composed (thanks for the lesson Instagram!). It also makes the pictures feel more substantial and more like classic Polaroid. They're easily legible when posted on a fridge, and you can comfortably make out faces in a group photo. The smaller rectangle ratio of the other printers yields photos that are just a bit too small for comfort – details get too tiny and you have to put more thought into your crop before you print.- Portable! I charge this up and bring it with me on almost every trip I take with friends and family.- Unlike a Polaroid camera, the fact that you print from your phone means you can choose the right shots to print and print shots other people share with you.- App makes it easy to reprint duplicates, so you can quickly print out copies to share.Cons:- The prints often end up darker than the photo looked on your phone. I find that using their app's "Intelligence Filter" yields more reliable prints.- Prints aren't "tack-sharp", but they're plenty good for keeping happy memories on your fridge.- You have to switch onto the device's own Wifi network to send it a photo, which means you have to disconnect from your real internet-connected Wifi. It adds a couple taps to the process of connecting and printing. I wish they made this work over Bluetooth instead.- The app can be slow to process things at times.In all, highly recommend if you're looking to create fun, sharable mementos.

Wow! I was very hesitant in buying this because of some of the bad reviews for this product.... but SO glad I ended up buying it. Product is great. It was difficult to connect at first because I did what the instructions stated but the printer still couldn't connect, so I googled it and it suggested to turn on "Location" for my phone and printer to connect and once I did that it connected fast. Very easy to use. Definitely need to download the "Instax Share" to use this printer. I have a Samsung S10 and had no issues pairing with printer. As you see there is "INSTAX Square Film" next to the printer, IT DID NOT COME WITH IT, MUST BUY SEPERATE. PRINTER DOES NOT COME WITH ANY FILM. Instax Square Film is the ONLY film that is compatible with printer AS OF JULY 2020.Overall a great buy and I'm so happy. DEFINITELY A MUST BUY.

I’ve been using this printer for about 2-3 months now and during that time I’ve printed out about 80-100 photos. I love it so much. It prints out good quality photos. I just wish the film wasn’t so expensive. I personally love taking pictures and so I’ve been now printing my photo gowns gifting it so at least someone gets some joy from the pictures. This printer has printed every time of photo for me and every one has come out great.My only issues is that if the photo is an outdoor photo or a super bright one you are gonna wanna darken it a bit in the app so it comes out the way you took it. The other issue is I wish I could zoom out more. On certain images I wouldn’t mind a black boarder if it meant I get to have my entire image printed. Something that can help with this is setting your phone in square pic mode.Oh! I almost forgot. I absolutely LOVE how small it is. It literally fits anywhere, it is not bulky and is perfect for traveling. You can slip it In you purse or bag and you won’t even notice it, it is so light weight.

I was unable to connect the SP-3 Instax Printer to my new 4/5G Android phone . The old 3/4G phone worked fine with the printer . Both phones are Motorola cell phones . ( Moto Z3 & Motorola Edge 5GU )I fixed this issue on the 5G-U by going to Settings , Mobile Network and Turning Off the Mobile WiFi and Roaming options . The phone complains about this saying one won't get emails etc. etc.. but I turned these settings off any way .I closed the Settings Menu .Then tried to print from the SP-3 again and it worked perfectly .When I finished with the printer I turned the Mobile WiFi and Roaming settings back on . Be Sure To Turn Your Mobile Network and Roaming ( if needed ) Back On After you Finish using the printer !The way 5G works now it would seem there is a tour de force between the Mobile Network and the local SP-3 Local Network in either software or hardware . It was not my home WiFi , but the phones Mobile Network settings that caused the printer connecting and printing issues .I hope this helps some one out there .
