I bought this for tire thumping - a low tire sounds different - and I was told that you can hear if the tire layers are seperating inside the tire. Don't know about that, not having a defective tire to test it on. Very sturdy for that purpose and heavy enough to give the tire a good thump.. What this is really great for is knocking packed in snow out of your wheel wells. Good long reach, plastic so it won't scratch the paint, and the grip works well even when wet. You could use this as a weapon, so I printed out some tire thumping instructions and wrapped them around it with a rubber band, just in case some cop questions what the tool is for (you could do more dames with a tire iron, and they never question those).

Good quality and weight for the price. I added tape intended for a baseball bat. Extra 7 bucks but worth it..otherwise handle a bit slippery.. .Now it's perfect..for tires or a scumbag intending harm...

Very sturdy, pretty light weight so easy to swing.The handle is grooved, good grip.

I purchased this after my dog was attacked by another dog while taking her for a walk in my neighborhood. Seeing a dog charging for you with its leash trailing behind is scary. Thankfully my girl could hold her own, but I’m not taking any chances from here on. Animal control came out and I asked for recommendations from them. They said a “big stick” is most effective. Pepper spray is too inaccurate and you may spray your own dog or never be able to get near the attacker dog’s face and a taser could cause the attacking dog to turn on you. I am impressed by the weight of the product (substantial but not so heavy it is impractical) and its solid construction. Gripped handle is large and the tie for wrist is as well. I tightened the tie to fit me so it doesn’t fall off my wrist and is convenient for me to grasp in a hurry. 4 stars not 5 because it is clunky, but any such product is going to be, so this may not be fair. (Leash in one hand, poop in a bag in the other, and this around a wrist). Recommended it to a friend for the same purpose and she bought it as well.
