Great for visually impaired
Great product once we got it set up - which was a bit of a chore. It took two of us a couple of hours, (!), but my mum is delighted with it. lol

On a minus side , this was bought as a present for a very petite lady, and she finds it quite bulky. On the plus side, she is very pleased that she can see the face and is able to use the speaking button 😀

Speaking Radio Controlled Watch
Bought for my elderly aunt who suffers with limited vision – she loves this watch – She finds the button easy to press that gives time / date / when it last updated – on a sunny / bright day she can even read the watch face as the numbers are quite prominent – it was easy to activate / set up but would need to be done by a full sighted person – My aunt won’t take it off she wears it all the time – she would definitely recommend

Keeps good time - but always an hour out!!
My second purchase of this product- for my Mum who is now virtually blind. First one lasted about five years and proved a very valued object. The new one is working fine - apart from the fact that it is always an hour out with the time!!! Whether its to do with BST v GMT I wouldnt know- but again ironic as Mum lives in Cumbria which is where the actual signal emanates from!

Easy to set up
Very prompt delivery. Easy to set up. It's a bit bulkier than I imagined (due to all the 'talking' gubbins inside) but I just put a new strap on, in lilac, to make it look a bit more feminine before I gave it to my 80yr old Mum. She absolutely LOVES it.It has been a god send to the rest of the family too as she is no longer constantly calling us to ask what day it is!

Did not work
I have a actually returned this item as it did not work. I had issues in returning it and have been unable to track the status of either the parcel or the refund.Not enamoured with Amazon

The watch has a good clear speaking voice
This watch was for my infirm mother-in-law. She had a similar type of watch before which stopped working. She is partially blind so needed a talking watch. She is very happy with her new watch and despite some of the other reviews, although she is frail she doesn't find the watch too heavy. Good product, a bit fiddly for me to set up but I'm not technically minded. ps only gave 3 stars for 'easy to read' because mother in law can't see very well, not the watch's fault.REL.
