Works great as replacement for Amana thermal fuse
Purchased a three pack as it’s a better deal than the one or two pack. Received in less than 24 hours.A day last week, went to switch over the laundry, literally taken out a load that just got done drying and put the next load in the dryer and hit start. Zip, zilch, zero, nada… nothing happened. I was puzzled given that it had been working minutes before.Did some troubleshooting on my end to determine why my dryer was no longer working and found some great tutorials on YT.Based on the method of elimination, was able to confirm door switch was fine and both the start button and the electrical cord was still functioning (confirmed start with multimeter). After testing thermal fuse with multimeter, confirmed that the fuse was bad. Assuming that this is why I noticed that my dryer was not heating as well/drying.Replaced the thermal fuse today and dryer is back up and running!!!I don’t know if I should be excited or cry … now I don’t have an excuse not to do laundry lol. Oh well … at least I had a couple days off of laundry duty.Recommend the purchase. Cannot speak on the longevity of the part as I just installed it. If I find that it does not last long for whatever reason, I will update my review. The fuse that I replace today has been on my dryer for four years, and not certain how long it had been on there prior, or if it was replaced at all as the appliances came with our home when we bought it.

Fit perfectly just like the OEM part
Was an easy fix. One screw, 2 wires...couldn't have been easier. Has been installed for months with no issues, and short of a dryer sheet plugging the outlet of the drum and overheating the drum again [which is what caused the original one to fail (as it's supposed to do)], I don't see a reason this should not continue to work as it should.
