CarreraEvolution 20025243 Mario Kart Analog Electric 1:32 Scale Slot Car Racing Track Set - Includes Two 1:32 Scale Cars & Two Dual-Speed Controllers Ages 8+

I bought this set for my son's 12th birthday and he loves it and he always has a blast racing with me or with friends. We had a small issue with one of the controllers and communicated this to Carrera and they sent a replacement. I have since added a lap counter and plan on adding more accessories and different cars. The track is compatible with a Carrera set that I got over 30 years ago (!) so that is telling about how long it may last.

We were really happy with this set. Easy to set up, and the cars work great. Really fun set.

Good, but not quite as durable as Carrera tracks of the past. I bought this set as a way of getting the power track for my track sets from years ago, and to get some cars that my grankids would be interested in running. The cars did what I had hoped - the grandkids are having a lot of fun with them. Two problems with the power track. First, sometime since the last time I bought a Carrera Evolution set years agot and now, they changed the connections between the power track, transformer, and controllers. None of my old connectors will work with the new track. (Luckily, all my old track will still work.) Second, the new connectors do not seem as robust as the old connectors. After a third set up, the connection from one of the controllers was spotty. I was able to fix it with some simple tools, but I would expect the set to be more durable than that. Other than that, the set is good and runs well. And my grandkids, age 5-9, are having a lot of fun (as is their grandpa). It is a good way to pass the hobby down to the younger generation.

Bought this for a Christmas present for the grand kids,5 and 8 years old . What a hit , they loved it . They both got the hang of it Quickly and the cars are good Quality. Great value for for what your getting!
