I usually buy Greek oregano, but decided to try the Mexican oregano. I'd very pleased. Great heady aroma, fresh and plenty of the herb in the bag.

Mexican oregano is different from Italian oregano
Many cooks don't understand that Mexican oregano is a different plant from regular oregano. They then cook off-tasting Mexican food because they use Italian oregano. Don't do it! Buy Mexican oregano, and every time the Mexican food recipe calls for oregano, use Mexican oregano. It tastes so much better. When you open the bag, you will immediately know the difference from the delicious odor, even if the dried leaves look the same as regular oregano.
