Graf von Faber-Castell Ink cartridges, Hazelnut Brown 6X, 141102

These inks are OK, do the job but are no better than others generally speaking, I've got all the GVF range. The brown is the nicest shader I feel...

I bought this set of ink cartridges for use with my Rotring Artpen fountain pen. I was hoping to draw, then ink, and then apply watercolours. The product description says "indelible ink - smudge-resistant, reproducible, light-fast and waterproof", so I was confident it would be fine but it was not the case: I drew a series of lines with the pen on 140lb NOT watercolour paper and let it dry. Then I applied some watercolour and it smudged completely. Very disappointed with this product as the description is incorrect.

Ideal to stand out from the crowd this ink is great

The ink color is very nice and attractive, chocolaty brown. It is also document proof and can be used to sign documents.
