Works well after slight adjustment.
First run after installation it had a run-out of about 0.020". That was a bit too much to tolerate. I loosened the mounting nut, marked the arbor shaft and the wheel, and turned the wheel 90 degrees. That move just about eliminated most of the runout and now spins smoothly.The 60 grit is a nice general all-around bite for most steel work. If I need a finer finish I use either a sander or Scotch type pads.

Got this 8" wheel to final sharpen my wood lathe tools & it does a great job at a good price.

Smooth wheel, perfectly balanced.
This wheel is perfectly balanced and perfectly cut. It's a lot better than a name brand wheel I bought that is out of balance. This wheel gets an easy five stars.
