Brilliant game!
Wow, what an awesome game! Having not played a co-operative strategy game before and also being very new to the concept of board gaming as a hobby I decided to research the top board games for 2017. Pandemic Legacy was near the top of the list so I took a gamble and purchased this game and I'm so glad that I did! This game has brought my friends and I away from the constant checking of phones to the constant discussion of what move to perform next. We have played 4 months so far and managed to get something wrong each time....hopefully we'll get it right by month 12. I highly recommend this game if you want to get your friends engaging and communicating with each other over an intriguing board game for an afternoon as opposed to the usual social media propaganda!

Just great. we are very keen and experienced board game players and Pandemic fans, and we found this wonderful adventure the best thing we'd ever played. We were really sorry when the game ended, even though we won it. Month by month the game unfolds, with new problems and tricks testing out your management skills to the full. Yes, it's true you can only play the game once really in its 'Legacy' form, but for at least 12 and probably more like 20 sessions you are getting top class entertainment. Roll on Legacy 2!

Brilliant for Pandemic lovers!
Oh, WOW. If you have not played pandemic yet, go get some practice, maybe try on the brink expansion first, then come back. IT WILL HELP. If you enjoy pandemic, this is the next step. forget those mad dash to cures ignoring the rest of the world for the win. This is a series of games that adds to what you already know and the game you love. See it as an investment to entertainment. You will only get to play a limited of 12-24 games as you change the board, but we have found it was worth it. We may even try to take features and additions into our normal games to spice things up. I'm not saying anymore due to spoilers, each normal game will take about an hour as you have extra jobs before and after the game that all adds to the enjoyment, dare I say excitement of virus outbreaks across the globe. I'm not sure whether I would buy it again, but I would recommend it if you enjoy pandemic and want an ongoing challenge with friends.

As an avid boardgamer and pandemic fan I was wondering how they could make the game any better. Without spoiling the plot the game is a "play once" campaign game with 12 episodes to play through (the number of games you actually you play will vary depending if you win each episode). The game evolves and changes each episode you play depending if you win/lose with new objectives to complete. Furthermore the board also changes allowing you to also customise your favourite characters, alter how diseases can be cured and so forth. I was a bit dubious about not being able to replay the game but now I'm about 30% through I'm always excited about what the next surprise may be in stall for the next round. Just think about this being a great disaster film that you can take part in to save the world. PS - if you can't truly bring yourself to permantly alter the game there are plenty of guides online on how to keep the game in pristine condition without needed to destroy or mark cards but in my opinion this changes the nature of the game and other players might want to just get on with the game.

Fantastic, far superior to Risk Legacy
After playing through Risk Legacy, my group wanted this very badly; we all prefer co-op games to competitive ones. It is fantastic. The legacy deck is fantastic, the story is engaging, the twists are unexpected and exciting. Definitely worth the money. Can't wait for Season 2!

Excellent game
I have to say Legacy games have spoiled normal board games for me a little - the adaptive gameplay and evolving rules make normal games get old quick. I started the legacy journey with Pandemic season 2, and the only reason this one doesn't get 5 stars is that I felt season 2 was better, as it departs more from the "traditional" Pandemic ruleset. Many friends comment to me that Legacy games aren't worth the money as you get to the end and it's done with, however I can list on one hand the number of standard games I have that have hit the table over 12 times (the minimum games you get with a season of Pandemic, and indeed most legacy games I have played (Seafall, Charterstone and Season 1 and 2)) so on a play per £ basis, Legacy has more value to me. I can't really write about the game itself without spoilering it, however there is always a surprise around the corner in Pandemic.

Fun
Fun and with lots of different elements compared to the standard Pandemic. You play each month and if you fail a month you can repeat it again with some extra help. We've accidently started playing in January which should be nice, and we will play once a month.

I love pandemic, and was apprehensive about buying a co-op ...
I love pandemic, and was apprehensive about buying a co-op games that was only a one time through play. It was a lot of money for what it is. Well, I am not disappointed. A group of us got together and bought this game and it is amazing. This game is so adaptable for the decisions you make. It's a game that we are playing as often as we can, and usually two games when we meet. Even the first game we played blew our mind, then it just got worse. There are things to open when certain criteria are hit. It has parts to open and destroy and it's great. I recommend it. Roll on Season 2!

Finally finished my campaign with a friends. While they are not big into board game, pandemic was easily accessible for them and we ended with a beautiful one of a kind board that we still talk about from time to time to this day. I need to find a way to frame the board with all the elements. Fred the med, you shall be remembered as an hero, always and forever.

If you’re into legacy games, I highly recommend this one. We have the ‘stand-alone’ version, which is ok but this one takes it to another level. You will not necessarily win all the scenarios in one turn, there is actually a good chance you will have to play a scenario more than once, which makes it interesting and exciting to play. Will be buying Season 0 as well.

This is hands down the best board game I have ever played. Every month in the game's rules brings something new and exciting, and thus, no two games are ever same or even similar. The story is engaging, the design is great, the rules are changing little by little so it is always fresh but never overwhelming, and all 4 of us playing are very much emotionally invested in the game. And make no mistake, this game is not easy. You will lose some months, and that's all right. I would recommend it to anyone who would like a co-op challenge.
