Very satisfying product and manufacturer. A++
I have five of these providing power to my larger aquariums. They were easy to configure and work as expected. Today, one of them failed. Power delivery stopped and the tank it was powering went dark and silent. I could see the indicator light on the unit feebly flickering, then it went dark. I plugged it into another outlet, nothing. It's dead, Jim. As Dr. Mccoy would say.So, I used the Amazon feature to send a message to "Get Help" which gave me the opportunity to send the seller a message. I related the above to them and wondered when I would hear back. This was Sunday afternoon, today. I head back just a few hours later. Around 8 AM Shenzhen time I got a message from them indicating they had made a refund and there was no need to return the failed unit. I thanked them and promptly ordered a replacement. As you might imagine, I'll continue to order these in the future with absolute confidence. What more could you ask for?

Still working after 5 years
I use this device year round because my lights in the front yard are not solar powered. It still works great after 5 years.Every once in a while (maybe 3x since I've had it) I have to reconnect it to the wifi. Don't delete it from the app!!! Hold down the power button to put it in "slow blink" discovery mode (blue light). If I "fast blink" mode then hold down the power button again to get to "slow blink" mode. Then go into the Smart Life app and add socket manually. Follow the prompts and no need to reset the settings.

super easy
This was by far the easier smart plug iāve ever installed. i plugged it in opened my smart life app and it just detected and installed took less then 5 minutes. So far the quality seems good but iāll update the review over time with use.

Unreliable and obstinate!
In theory (and according to other reviewers), this is an awesome product, and I would agree - - - IF it would do what it was supposed to! I have had this now for 5 months and am extremely disappointed in it.Setting it up for wifi was a challenge. I first had to contact the company regarding figuring out which option to select under "device" since they have multiple choices in several different categories that are all labeled "plug" with the same line drawing picture options... very frustrating, and time-consuming, unless you have all day to sit there and try selecting each one until you happen to hit the correct one! Then, figuring out how to schedule the timers was even more frustrating, but I eventually figured it out. Are you getting the idea that their instructions are not very clear or easy to understand/follow?From the get-go, it kept giving me a "Poor Network Condition" error message. I moved it repeatedly trying to improve the connection, to the point that I brought it into the house and set it less than 5 feet from the main gateway, and a foot away from my phone. And still got the same message that it had a poor network connection. I have since had to reset it repeatedly because it will keep losing the network connection, with the same results. It would eventually connect, but has proved to be extremely unreliable - it will "hold" the network connection for a short period of time (hours, days, maybe a week), then go dead. Running diagnostics on it would only get me the same result - "poor network connection". It's like that is the only response it knows! It doesn't tell you anything else, like what to do to correct the issue. I've tried moving it without success. In my mind, that message means it's either at the edge of or outside the network, which it isn't - I have extremely good wifi showing on my phone, standing right next to where I need this plug to go, and much further beyond. The schedule would not "hold", so lights would not come on when scheduled, or would come on and stay on, not shutting off. Trying to use the Echo to control them (even just turning them on or off) would get me an error message from Alexa saying that the device was not connected. Grrrrr! And just to add to the confusion, I can manually turn the lights on and off from the app by touching the plug icon - I just have to remember to do so every day... what a waste of technology if it doesn't do it when you set it to so you don't HAVE to remember to do it!At this point, it's too late to return it. Now the search is back on as I still need a RELIABLE and EASY TO SET UP multiple outdoor plug that I can set to a schedule, and run on wifi. Honestly, I don't care that I can control it with my Echo dot - I don't want to have to remember to tell something to turn lights on and off, or have to try setting up a schedule within the dot, that's what a schedule/timer on the lights is for! I am willing to drop-kick this thing as far as possible if someone can suggest one that will actually do what it is supposed to!

Fine product, but instructions from vendor for setup are dead wrong.
Okay, once you get it paired, this is a very nice device. But the instructions packed with it, as well as the guidance offered by the sellerās support people is dead wrong. Here is how to set it up, to use the Smart Life app on an iPhone to control it.The switch needs to physically be less than three to four feet away from your wireless hub during pairing. I tried from just eight feet away for over an hour, before I tried moving it closer, on the end of a three prong extension cord. It was still trying to sync when I moved it closer, and it snapped right into sync when I got three feet away.Your iPhone needs to be on the same 2.4 GHz wifi as the switch during setup. (You can change the phone back to 5 GHz wifi for your phone after the device is set up.) The switch will select the closest available 2.4 GHz wifi when you pair it. (Which is possibly why it needs to be close during setup, so it knows which wifi to pair on.)That almost unreadably tiny QR code in the instructions did take me to a download webpage for the āSmart Lifeā app, for my iPhone. Searching in the Apple App store for Smart Life found two apps, with no way to tell which was the correct one. You want the one with a blue app icon, with a white house-shaped outline on it. Download it and sign up for a new account, if you have not used that app before.Open the app, and click on the + or on the add device button. Choose wifi power strip, then click through the instructions, giving it your wifi password, and stop when it asks you to confirm the light is blinking rapidly.Plug the switch in, and the button will light up green, indicating all outlets are on. You first need to press that button one time, so it turn BLUE, indicating it is off. Then and only then, you can hold the button down for five seconds, and it will start the rapid blue blinking. In the app, confirm the light is blinking. It should start scanning for a device to pair with.If all goes well, it should pair as āAW39ā.Click on that in the device list in the app, to control your switch. Youāll see a representation of a four outlet power strip. The power button on the top of the displayed strip toggles all four outlets on or off at once. If some are already on, first they all go off, then they all go on. (Just like the physical switch on the device.)Clicking on an individual outlet toggles that outletās power on or off. #1 is the far right outlet, #4 is the far left one. You can rename each outlet in the app.The schedule button allows you to set on and off times for each outlet. One on or off action per rule, scheduled for ājust onceā, or to repeat on certain days. Times should be within 30 seconds of the specified minute. Expired ājust onceā rules remain in the schedule, deactivated, and can easily be reactivated or edited. Swipe left on any schedule item to get the delete button. The countdown button lets you turn an outlet on after immediately counting down a time in hours and minutes. To rename the device itself in your list, click on the three dots in the upper right corner, then click on the pencil and paper icon to the right of the name.Iāll probably buy a few more, now that I know how to get them to work. But the supplier needs to hire an English-speaking technical writer, who has actually tried to perform the setup instructions!
