This is a very easy to install doorbell and comes with two plug in chimes/receivers. I used the included two sided tape to stick the doorbell to a glass window beside the door, and it looks great from the outside, but you look at the white tape from inside/behind; I guess I could put a sticker over it, but it works.The unit easily pairs with both Chimes, then you can put them on two different floors, or have one by the backyard. The chimes have two buttons on the side to quickly adjust the volume, and it can be really loud so that you can hear it wherever it is. I have one that is about 100 feet from the doorbell, and reception is no problem. There are a ton of different ringtones/tunes/songs to pick from. One button on the side of the chime cycles through all of them. The sound quality is far from high fidelity, as can be expected, but you won't have any difficulty hearing or recognizing the tunes.The chimes must be plugged into an outlet to work, and the doorbell comes with it's own battery (CR2032 I believe) that is easily replaced. Overall it's an effective doorbell for any place that you need to add one.

These work great,are loud and have long range. The programable sound is a nice feature too. I can hear the doorbell through out my house where ever I am. I had another wireless doorbell but the steel siding on my house interfeared with it make the range between the transmitter and receiver useless,I had to plug the transmitter into a socket next to my door inside which meant I couldn't hear it anywhere but the room it was in.

Easy, small in size and good range. Just wish it was louder or was able to control a light. I use mine in my basement workshop and when I'm running big power tools I can not hear it. Flashing a light would work better. This is not a criticism of this device. It works well. Guess I'm going to have to modify it and connect the speaker output to a relay controlling a receptacle to flash a light.

This doorbell was easy to install. Has a nice loud "ding dong" which sounds off twice & there are several choices of sound from which you can select what you like. It uses batteries. There is a plastic small piece like a key that needs to be placed into it to open the outside device to get the batteries inside. It was a bit tricky, my concern was it took so much effort & pressure I might break either the key or the cover. Delicately play with it and eventually the cover comes off. It snaps together easily. My biggest concern will be when the battery/batteries need to be changed because that device is now stuck on the outside wall of the house. How am I going to get the plastic key into the right place and work the the cover off to replace the battery? I may have to sit on a stool beneath it, use a flashlight to see where to place it! I guess I will cross that bridge when I get to it. You have two rectangular devices that provide the ringing sound inside the house. You plug them into electrical outlets within a specified distance from the outside device. Overall, for the price it is a great doorbell. Erika B. (Pepperflower)

This was a godsend for my elderly friend. I do not want folks in and out of her house bringing her germs, and this was a snap for her son to plug and play while he was there dropping off gifts.

Got it for my store so I would be more efficient and able to help customers. I wasn't thinking about not having an outlet in the Cooler, but I leave the door open while I work in the cooler and it works for me. A few other store managers have seen and are thinking of incorporating it in their stores as well.

This product claims to function up to 1000 feet. This is an outright lie. We tried everything to get it past 50 feet. Totally useless to us as we need 200 feet. No interference no metal objects and no blockages at all. We made sure there was even a total "line of sight" for the product and it failed. What a complete waste of our time and money. CHINA products at their best.
