Fairly easy to connect to any drill little bit of a learning curve but when you get it down it slices through a sheet metal with no problem. Definitely worth the money if you work with sheet metal regularly.

This is a great cutter. It's well made and cuts perfectly. It's really easy to use. It does the job well.

Does not cut even the thinnest sheet metal. Repeatedly binds up and mangles the cut. Could not even get it to work once before it stripped itself.

Bought this to cut some 24 gauge roofing metal. Yes, it did work, but had to adjust my setup. It kept veering off to the right no matter how hard I wrestled with it. But when a handle from another tool was screwed into the socket provided for that purpose, it worked quite well. The instructions are a comedic translation, with very little information. Going back to the Amazon sales page was much more useful, with lots of photos and videos. Well worth the price, just wish the instruction sheet had more details, like why are there so many extra parts..

The video demonstrated this cutter is used on flat and ribbed metals. When I was preparing it the instructions say it can't be used on ribbed metals. I've got it, so I'm going to use it. The instructions also show a side handle. Nope

This thing is brilliant! I just finished running two long ducts in a small house we are building and every run required one section to be cut. And if you've ever cut a round tube, you know that those edges will bend back onto your hands. Mine left their bloody stains. I wish I had this tool for that. I decided to rework our existing dryer duct to be more direct and used this to cut one length in 10 seconds with great accuracy and ease. I don't know how the adjustment screw works, but it cut 26 gauge as it was adjusted with perfection! I was going to knock it one star because it doesn't include the handle that is shown with the instructions and the clamp that is provided in its place doesn't fit the diameter of my drill and probably won't fit on any, but it's not needed.

I'm sure this is a very nice tool but it says a maximum of 1 mm steel sheet. It did okay for the first little bit but then proceeded to twist the little rod included, for luck I guess, and pinched my finger fairly hard. After that, the aluminum housing broke. This might be a good tool if the housing were more solid. Admittedly, maybe the steel sheet was a little more than 1 mm because it was 19 gauge but, it cut through thinner metal with beauty.

Well worth the money works great would recommend for any one was skeptical at first again worked great for me easy to use
