Very nice
These are very nice for the price. I intend to use them for small snatch blocks for 550 paracord for special project.

They just don't work.
I must say 304 stainless is junk if that's what it is. I installed these in May and they basically sat and started rusting. The bearings are also frozen.

Bearings are not free wheeling
I have a compressed vertebrae in my neck which causes pain to shoot down my arm. Reducing the pressure of the weight of my head provides relief. I have a commercial neck traction device that hooks over the top of a door with a set of weights connected to a neck/head harness by a rope that goes up, across, and back down. But this only fits in one location in our house that is easily visible from public areas. So I ordered these to construct a neck traction system that would have its weights pulling down located a few feet away (in the corner of our large walk-in closet) from the point where the neck/head harness was being pulled up (from over the doorway). One pulley would be mounted on a custom bracket at the top of those two locations. Thus keeping all the mechanism out of sight most of the time and only the harness end visible when being used. I chose these pulleys because of their deep recess that should hold the connecting rope in place as it moves back and forth. Also, their small size allows the connecting system be more compact and less of an obstacle for other items stored in the closet. I think these little pulleys will work, but their bearings are very stiff. All 5 of them are the same. I hope they will loosen up in time - maybe if I force some light weight lubricant into them - so that the apparatus will function more smoothly.
