Well made, handles smoothly and adds a challenge to normal 3x3 cube solving!
Bought the actual Rubiks one of these! Absolutely horrendous to handle and one bit broke off and it rattles! This cube on the other hand is night and day! Solves the same as a 3x3 but without the visual cues of colours! This adds the challenge to it! Handles smoothly, turns well, feels well made and good to manipulate! Plus it looks a little more impressive when you solve it from it's scrambled state as it is all out of shape then, suddenly, its a cube again! Don't recommend this for a beginner! Get a normal cube with colours until you have the moves down pat, then move onto this, otherwise you'd get really frustrated, really quickly! Amazing looking thing solved or unsolved and handles like a dream!

Perfect for the price
Bought this for a gift and they love it. Not the best quality but for the price is perfect.

A bit of fun
My dad is pretty good at solving rubix cubes, so I thought I'd get him something a little different as a little extra gift for his birthday. It's not fantastic quality but it's not poor quality either. The silver colour is just a sticker, not platic built into the pieces. My husband and I twisted it multiple times until it was a jumbled mess, expecting him to be fairly challenged, however we received a photo of it back in its original cube form not 24 hours later. He seemed to enjoy solving it though.

Hours of fun and frustration
This cube was a purchase for my puzzle minded nephew. He is very quick on a rubix cube and wanted more of a challenge. Challenge is definitively the right word! My family spent an afternoon together and the cube was passed from person to person all afternoon with no one able to solve it. It was so frustrating in a really good way and everyone (old and young) enjoyed a bash at it. My nephew and his dad ended up watching a tutorial together before they were finally able to complete the right algorithms to solve it. Needless to say it’s been back out several times and my nephew is now keenly attempting to learn the algorithms to re solve it. What an excellent little puzzle!

I find it really good and gets my head working
Bought as a present for my son, wasn't sure if he would be that interested compared to the Rubiks cube as this looked less colourful and possibly less challenging. His comments are: "The cube moves really well without catching and causing problems while trying to desperately get it back to the start again. I find it really good and gets my head working, still haven't managed to solve it". The cube changes shape as you move the sides which really adds to the puzzle. Very happy with purchase.

A fun step up from a usual 3x3
This was fun to do and really quite satisfying. I'm new to cubes. I enjoy using them but I don't see myself getting into speedcubing or becoming overly obsessed with times. I liked this because once I'd got to the point where I could easily solve a 3x3, this cube provided an extra level of challenge. I quickly became practiced in solving this one too, so I don't think it has too much longevity but its good value for the price. The build quality seems good but not as great as some of the brand-named 3x3s.One small gripe - There are 54 stickers, each is brushed silver. Well 52 are brushed in the same direction and 2 are annoyingly brushed perpendicular. I know this sounds like a massive case of OCD but I do think it's a manufacturing mistake.

Good cube
Bought as a Christmas present. A bit more fiddly than a regular cube but apparently easily solved.

Perfect gift
For grandson who’s collecting as many of these cubes as he can.
