Hat was slightly too big but I was between sizes so went slightly larger. I also bought some hatband liners which gave me a nice snug fit.Very pleased with the quality of this product!

I am really pleased with it - have been looking for ages for a hat that is big enough, I am a member of a clog morris side and wanted it as part of my costume therefore it needs to stay on whilst stamping, stepping and dancing. I wore it last weekend and it withstood the test. Sits snugly above the ears and not once came loose whilst dancing. Now also adorned with red ribbons and feathers to complete the look! Measured my head with a shoelace (for lack of measuring tape) and measured it with a ruler, and my head size came to about 60cm in circumference. I would implore anyone who desires to purchase this particular Bowler/ Derby hat to read the reviews left by other customers as I did. The hat I ordered I knew would have to be a size smaller than I wanted, so I got a large to compensate for the slight size miscalculation.That being the only gripe I have concerning the product at hand, I have nothing left but positive reactions to this particular product.The hat itself is sturdy and somewhat waterproof due to the stiffening product used on the wool to keep its iconis shape.The hat also comes with a wooden hat brush with stiff, black bristles to remove any hairs or blemishes that may find themselves on your head wear.Again, select a size smaller than what is stated, and this product should be a near, if not perfect fit.

I had been looking for a bowler as part of a 1920 themed evening but didn't want some cheap bit of fancy dress tat you often find for a few quid. After reading a number of the reviews I decided that requiring a size 61in I would go for the XL rather than the XXL and it was perfect, ok as expected the hat was a little rounder than my head shape but again not not made of concrete and easily flexed to my head shape, in-fact it was a warm evening and after a few hours the hat has moulded itself to my head shape. Overall i was extremely happy with the hat and totally impressed with the quality, I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a quality cheap bowler hat

Seems to be a well-made hat, with the added bonus of a cleaning brush included in the box - a nice touch. However, the hat in size L was wayyyy too big - more like an XXL, so I returned it for the next size down. I paid for the postage to send back and received the replacement which was far too small - the difference in sizes was ridiculous. VIZ refused to refund the postage despite their returns policy, citing the problem was with my head, not the hat.... Funny how I was able to pick up a size L hat elsewhere that fitted perfectly. You take pot luck when you buy one of these hats, as the label inside bears no relation to the actual size you receive!

Pretty good but waaaaaaaaay too big. I guess the lesson here is check the reviews first since they mostly said the same. I got a refund rather than a smaller replacement since the party I bought it for had passed.

Very nice quality bowler hat. Came with a brush for cleaning. I ordered according to reviews for sizing and it fitted nicely. My husband went to Halloween party as Stan Laurel and looked great!
