My old solar twin spot-lamps gave up the ghost last week after many years of service, one lamp lit up my back door and the second was angled to show my side entry where I keep my wheelie bins. It’s very dark in autumn and winter, hence the need for outdoor lighting. I couldn’t find any like for like solar dual spot-lamps, so decided to take a gamble on this curved design. First thing I noticed when taking it out of the box was how well constructed it is. The second thing is that the solar panel was only half the size of the unit it replaces but a lot more modern looking, and the light itself is a decent size. The whole unit took less than 10 minutes to install. I let it charge from the days sunlight and waited for the Sun to go down so I could try it. I’d angled the curve in such a way that I hoped it would light up my back door area and the side passage. When it got dark I went outside … WOW !!! the light is as intense as a car headlight, and the curved shape lit up everything and more that I had gambled on it doing, the whole of my patio and the side passage all lit up as though a car was parked in the back garden with its headlights on ! This is an impressive piece of kit. Footnote as of 17 Nov 2022: now that we are getting less sunlight hours, I half expected the Solar charged batteries in the unit to perform less well - that has definitely NOT been the case at all. The light has remained as bright whenever it has been on demand during the night, even on dull days. I have angled the solar panel to catch as much sunlight as possible facing south, low in the autumn sky. The solar panel will swivel up or down, so worth adjusting it as the Sun sinks lower through the Autumn and Winter.

Great item. Still bright and charging

These are a very pricy product for what they are but they do a good job and seem well built. They have a good battery that lasts all night, and are easy to install. My only fault is the motion sensor could be slightly more sensitive, as they can’t always pick motion up in severe darkness or at the edge of the field of vision. Other than that a good product.

Bought these to go down the side of my house and didn't fancy a mains powered light as disnt want to electrocute myself :-) These are so simple to install and set up, it took maybe 5 minutes with a drill. Decent size solar panel, so far hasn't let me down. Lights are pretty bright, as soon as get 5 to 10 metres away from.the lights they switch on and I can see everything. No more walking in the dark down the side of my house. Great value for money, easy to use and set up. 👍 Thumbs up from me.

I found this light to be very easy to install, and it was a good value for the price. The solar panel seems to be working okay, but the light itself isn't as bright as I would have liked. It would be perfect if it were a little bit brighter. But overall, I'm happy with the MPJ 106 LED Solar Light Outdoor with Motion Sensor. It's simple, does the job, and is good enough for the price. I would recommend this light to anyone who is looking for an affordable and easy-to-install solar light for their outdoor spaces. Just keep in mind that it's not the brightest light on the market.

Wanted a light in our 'summer kitchen' area but did not want to go to the bother of running the electric feeds. As the area has a roof structure normal solar was not a serious option then saw this item with split light/solar. It works a treat and how nice that the interconnecting cable is long. Very bright light and so easy to install (Screw driver only to fix the two units to the timber frames)

A great light and great value. I'm giving this 5 stars, even though it isn't quite right for the job I got it for. I needed a light inside the shed, and thought with the separate solar panel outside and light in, it would be perfect. But not exactly at this time of year. The light sensor that ensures it only comes on in the dark is actually on the solar panel, not the light itself. So even though it can be quite dark/dim in the shed where a light would be needed, the fact that it's still fairly bright outside in the evenings where the panel is, the light doesn't come on in the shed. Clearly, when it's dark outside, and as the nights draw in, then this won't be a problem later on as it's dark everywhere, but thought I'd point it out. Can't fault the light and operation, and value at all, so would still recommend..

I use this light as a motion detections device for my chickens. It is very sensitive to motion and provides very good light quality for a 40' x 40' + space to deter predators without being so bright as to disturb the chickens on their roost. When I walk out at dark to check my coop to assure its secure this light provides all the light I need It comes with every thing you need to attach it in any condition and is simple to instal. This was a great choice and good value

Ottimo faro solare, quando è acceso fa molta luce, buono avere il cavetto lampada faro abbastanza lungo per poter posizionare il pannello più distante dal faro dove può assorbire più sole, io ho posizionato il pannello proprio sul farò, buono il sistema di fissaggio, basta fissare la staffa al muro e dopo inserire il faretto nella staffa. Funziona tutto alla meraviglia tanto il sensore che il crepuscolare. Un faretto l'ho installato vicino ad una finestra e posso raggiungere il sensore con una mano, così illumino il piazzale sottostante per 20 secondi. Sono rimasto molto contento dell'acquisto ed in base alla mia esperienza lo consiglio vivamente.
