Wheelbarrow booster

Works as described. Perfect for large gardens, increases the barrow capacity by 2-3 times. A little tricky to fit initially & does come off sometimes but overall great value for money.

Does not stay on wheel barrow properly when putting on slightly too big and it all falls out no matter how you do it complete waste of money and more hassle than it’s worth don’t bother .

This is a really useful tool in my allotment toolkit. I bought it to increase the capacity of the load that I could move from the heap of manure to my plot some 220 yards away and it did not disappoint me. I can now fill the barrow to about 2 1/2 times the capacity and get more out of my long trek back and forth to the heap. What you need to remember is when filling the barrow spread the material evenly to all 4 corners of the booster and this will keep it from flopping inwards. Then you will be able to fill the barrow up with ease. I have two barrows. One is a typical builders barrow, which is deep and narrow and the other is a gardeners wide and square aluminum affair. The booster works far better with the latter since it holds onto the sides far better and the extra width of the handles allows for better balance under the weight of the extra load. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product..

I needed to improve the load capacity of my wheel barrow, as my previous method of tying a bin liner to my head did not work very efficiently. After ordering the Wheelbarrow booster I decided to stay up all night in feverish anticipation of the next day delivery as I did not want to miss its delivery.After drinking 20 cups of black Starbucks Frappuccino I was wide alert for the delivery of my very own Wheelbarrow booster the following morning. As the doorbell rang I frantically put on my Debenhams boxer shorts and made myself presentable through liberal application of eau de toilette.My order of the Wheelbarrow booster had arrived. The packaging was minimalist and easy to rip open with my teeth. Lying in the bottom of the box was the Wheelbarrow booster, enticing me with its plastic sheen and wonderful elastic hem. I dutifully read the accompanying 100-page manual and in no time at all had it fastened round my forehead.Trials in the garden of the Wheelbarrow booster have gone very well and I whole-heartedly recommend it as a most efficiacious and ingenious invention, though my neck pain is alleviated by liberal application of Deep Relief.

Well made and sturdy. I bought this to increase the size of my 90L barrow that I use for mucking out my stables and clearing the paddocks of muck, it fits to barrow well and goes on easily but when It comes to tipping the contents out it comes off the barrow, but it's possibly not been tested with horse muck. I'll clean it and use it at home for garden refuse and go back to traditional wooden 'hungry boards' for the horse muck.

i love this i have a small barrow i use at the barn but wasn't big enough to get much in, with the extender on i only made 2 trips to empty the barrow. it really does make my barrow hold more than twice the amount. to empty the barrow wasnt difficullt, i just folded the front down and it emptied when i tipped it. fantastic item

I had naively assumed this would be a bag with a base as well as the rubber lip that fits around the barrow. In fact it is just a plastic tube which fits around the edge of the barrow so that it extends the depth, thus making it possible to put more into it. This is fine, except that it is difficult to tip out the contents tidily without the sides bending inwards, and if you lift the booster off the barrow then the load goes all over the place. Since most people have to take their garden rubbish to a local amenity site, it would make far more sense if this booster had a base, turning it into a bag that you could then lift out completely. I shan't be recommending this.

It's supposed to fit "around" the wheelbarrow (something that is not mentioned in the listing). Well, it doesn't. Mine is now in the waste bin.
