Good Tape...but not for Everyone!!
Just to say product was send quickly, with a followed up message shortly after receiving the tape, that you should try it out first putting a small amount of tape on for few hours, which I did and had no adverse reaction at the time!I did use it on my foot, leaving it on for over night,I experienced a terrible itch and took it off, I had several small blisters, which opened when removing the tape! At the moment they are still healing! Just to say this kind of tape was also applied once by my physio and I had no reaction! I was told to self apply at home, that's why I bought the tape...but just a warning! That some people might get a delayed reaction, which I did. The tape itself is super sticky and easy to apply...Unfortunately not suitable for me!!!

Incredible!
Wow! What an amazing product!!! I have been looking for MONTHS for a super sticky tape to keep the prescribed duck tape securely in place over my little boy's verruca's. To date, nothing at all has stuck properly to his remarkably wet and slippery feet so the "duck tape" treatment my GP prescribed has been a complete and utter nightmare. Despite searching high and low on the internet to see if anyone else was having the same trouble as me with no success I could find nothing that worked, until in desperation I came upon this and decided to give it a final shot! Hooray! I need look no further! Having washed his feet, applied all the correct potions and lotions and placed some Duck tape over the offending area, I then stuck a strip of the UberTape over the top. It felt very soft and comfortable to the touch and was far superior to the micropore that I had been using previously which resulted in a horrid sticky mess that started to get stuck in his socks. The thick width of this tape was perfect to completely cover the area which needed "duck taping" and looked extremely neat. He reported back that it felt very comfortable. Although only 9 years old, he is prone to be rather sceptical (probably as a result of my already trying just about every other sticky tape on the market!) but this morning he bounced downstairs in delight to show me that everything was neatly and comfortably in place just where I had left it before he went to bed! Even he was impressed!!! If anyone else is trying to get "Duck tape" to stick to the underside of feet, I would strongly recommend giving this a shot! I am quite delighted that my search appears to be over! Now it is just a case of getting shot of the wretched verruca's!!!

Used it to treat blisters on a long-distance hike
I cut some off the (generous) roll that shipped with the order. I took it with me on a long-distance hike of 192 miles on the coast-to-coast walk. I thought this would be better for treating blisters and protecting my skin. On the whole, it IS better than other products because it sticks really well, but even so, it DOES come off when wet and under continual repetitive rubbing and shearing forces in the boot. I do wonder if it is as good as, or better, than Leukoplast tape, which is fabric zinc oxide tape, but I haven't tried this yet. What I LIKE about this Kinesiology tape is that it STRETCHES in one direction, but not in the other. You can therefore cut some off the roll and wrap it around a toe and stop the (popped/lanced) blister for moving. It was much better than nothing at all - it did add a lot more support to the blister-damaged skin, but even so, it did come off by the end of the day and bunched up in the sock. I applied some to the back of my heel and this stayed on - for DAYS - so actually I think this tape is probably very good for taping/binding your feet to prevent or treat skin problems associated with wearing boots on long distance walks.Since buying this tape and doing the walk, I have learnt that many long-distance walkers are now leaving their boots at home and walking in trail running shoes, which are much lighter, breathable and much less likely to cause blisters. Even in very wet conditions I understand trail runners are better than boots as the feet can breathe, dry out more quickly and are far more "forgiving" than boots. In any case, boots will get wet eventually, either from water ingress, or from sweat. Once wet, they stay wet and toe skin becomes damaged and blisters.

Don't get older i.e. 70+
Last July my LHS Bi-cept ruptured - 'ouch that was /is still very painful descovering Kinesiology tape and I have used it to stabilise the shoulder joint as I have a full tear at the rear of the shoulder.Uber tape is far superior to most other tapes especiallly when you go into water.Still waiting to see what the consultant can do and have had to go privately as Lt Col Mr Rosselll of Frimley Park Hospital says due to my age it nothing can be done and did not even offer Physio and put me at the back of the list so at 71 years young I feel angry about his attitude and intend to take him to the BMA for negigence.Gil

Better than i could ever have expected
I have gluteal tendonopathy, SIJD and a lot of other soft tissue issues and tried everything for relief over the years. when i bought this i really wasnt expecting much but honestly its FANTASTIC!! I used youtube for guidance and taped up my glutes, groin and elbow, almost instantly the pain in my groin especially had almost gone, the support it has given me is quite unbelievable (i would tape my whole body up if i could). Its been on 5 days now and has barely moved and the only place it has lifted is the glute area and thats because i wear compression shorts 24/7 but my elbow area is still intact.I have long baths every night and because i was a bit worried it would lift took showers instead, it dries well and didnt budge so i tested it out and had a 2 hour bath and it still stayed put.I also used it on my daughters knee (osgood schlatters)And my husbands rotator cuff and i purchased a further 2 more rolls 1 to give to a friend who is suffering with sciatica.
