A quick and easy solution to damage your paintwork.
I bought four of these for the fireplaces in my home. The first garland was placed upon a mantle piece and immediately scratched it multiple times.These are constructed with a hard wire, so if you want your painted surfaces to look like they have just been brushed with a steel wool, go ahead and purchase. I didn't and so have returned them. I now have to look forward to re varnishing a fireplace.This thing literally has one job and it fails spectacularly at it. Possibly the worst product I have ever bought.
