This is a gadget to reset the card...so you can use other filaments rather than be locked into xyz stuff...the suitability of the materials you have mentioned, I am not sure about. You would need to check the running temperature for each of those and compare to how the card is set

no just place the cartridge counter on the chip I leave a da vinci cartridge in and I use hatchbox filament on a spool that I made hatchbox is so much cheaper
