I had a knee replacement 3 months ago and knelt a lot prior to the surgery. I asked my physician at the last visit if I could once again kneel. He indicated that it would not hurt my knee but it may be painful and I should kneel on something soft. I ordered this product and it is working well for me when I kneel briefly. I am not quite ready to kneel for gardening for a longer period but hope to soon.After another month, I thought I would update my review. Now that it is 4 months since my surgery, I can kneel using this with very little discomfort. I have not tried for long periods yet but I highly recommend this product if you miss kneeling like I do. Had a leak under the sink and this allowed me to clean up with no problem.Another update a year after surgery. Many of my friends and family who have had knee surgery say they have never gotten on their knees again. I gardened yesterday using this and had no problem. I quit, not because of my knee but because it got too warm. I highly recommend this product to anyone but especially those who have had knee surgery and want to be able to kneel again.Another update 9/2020. I bought a second one so I have one for outside work and one for inside the house. As far as I am concerned, this product is the best invention since sliced bread. What a knee saver!

This is the pad I've been searching for. Soft memory foam on top of firmer EVA shock-absorbing foam. The memory foam cradles the knees, and the EVA foam prevents knees from sinking to floor. It's a good combo. The "Kneelo" has memory foam, but this is much thicker. This entire pad is also much thicker and larger than the Kneelo. Plus the cover is removable with zipper and washable, while the Kneelo cover can't be removed. I "knee-tested" both brands. So glad I found this KI Store pad; worth every penny.The nylon-coated neoprene cover is what I would describe as a fabric, and even though it's washable, if I had a dirty job (e.g., dirt, sawdust, lots of dust), I'd probably use Velcro tabs to attach a harder foam washable pad (or something else) underneath this one to prevent the cover from getting really dirty. Also, because of germs or unseen food/grease that might get into the fabric, I wouldn't use this in the bathroom or kitchen and will stick to a harder foam pad that can be scrubbed clean for those rooms, unless I put something underneath this pad first, such as a plastic garbage bag. I think this would be fine for gardening, although I'd probably want one dedicated to gardening and another for inside the home.

It's not an exaggeration to say that this pad is the only reason I am still able to garden. My back won't tolerate long periods of bending, and kneeling directly on the ground is too painful. Previously I had tried a different kneeling pad that doubled (when turned upside-down) as a bench. Kneeling on that one was extremely uncomfortable -- the pad was very hard and the metal support in it dug into my knees.I ordered the KI Store Kneeling Pad and it has made a world of difference. It has enough give to be very comfortable, yet provides enough support that you don't feel the ground underneath. It is also sturdy (I've used it for the past two growing seasons and it's still in great shape). It's very easy to wipe the cover reasonably clean. I'm really grateful for this product!!

This is great for a variety of around the house projects where one needs to kneel on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. I see customers use it for gardening but I’ve found it great for projects on my hands and knees in the garage, on my car or painting items on the ground. It’s very sturdy and comfortable for the most part. I probably would have preferred something a little softer but it does the job and is worth the money to me. I can kneel for extended periods of time without having to take a break. I looked at quite a few versions online and this seemed to be one of the better ones in the price range, as far as reviews go etc. I looked at knee pads too but think for a female that does DIY home improvement projects, this is perfect! It looks just like the pictures online and arrived pretty quickly. I didn’t have any issues where I needed to reach out to the seller so was happy with my experience. I would buy this product again and work with the seller again!

A very well cushioning and supportive gardening kneeling pad, I’ve used it many times and it doesn’t get dirty easily. Also great for a comfortable seat wherever! (I fold it up for extra cushion or limited space.) the handles button together and it’s very easy to use. Haven’t had to clean the cover yet but seems like it would be easy and doable. Very handy to have and seems good quality. Sturdy and more useful than other cheaper and thinner mats I’ve used before, will definitely save your knees!

This was just what I needed to kneel in the planting beds and even use it as a ground cushion. It has a zippered cover so that it can be washed and it is filled with the best gel foam quality found on a premium gel foam mattress. It feels hard . . . but don't be deceived as it's great on the knees. It folds to be hung on a garage hook for storage. Highly recommend this for any gardener and you won't regret the purchase.

I use this when I bath my little one. It is amazing! I bough a couple of different mats marketed especially for bath time, but this is SO much better. The bath mats that I tried were super cute, but they didn’t have enough padding and they started to get moldy and funky pretty quickly. This is a lot more padded and it has a waterproof, removable cover so it stays clean. I highly recommend it! It has saved my knees while I kneel on the tile bathroom floor to give the kiddo a bath. This is great on my hard tile floor so I’m sure it would be awesome for gardening as well.

This is perfect to use as a cushion in a wheelchair. I opened it, placed it on the seat, and put 2 other cushions on the seat to obtain the correct height for my friend. She loves the support and height it gives. I've used it to kneel on to help her, too. The support is perfect for my knees. I like the handles and the snaps which keep it closed.
