I decided to buy one of these for myself as I had already got one for my dad, so easy to use and then you just pull the lever and it cuts the excess off. Its every simple to feed the tie through making light work of it and then to cut off the end not needed just finishes it. Every garage should have one.

Does not work at all like it's description. I purchased to use with Vktech 100pcs 11.8 Inches Stainless Steel Exhaust Wrap Coated Locking Cable Zip Ties, but the tool is not very user friendly. The cutting bit works well, but trying to get the disposable end of the zip tie into the tool is a pain in the ass - most of the time I had to manually open the anchoring device on the tool to let the band thru. Once properly anchored onto the disposable end of the zip tie, it only securely fastened it a fraction of the time - usually it just made a bend at the locking end that prevented any further tension, so I had to cut and replace the tie(I cannot imagine trying to use this in tight quarters). I ended up just using vice grips and a slotted screwdriver to secure the rest.

It was more sturdy than anticipated. Easy to use and does a good job. I do find that I would like to be able to get the ties tighter. Unsure if its the tool or the ties. Reasonably priced and solid construction materials, I use it quite often and like it so far.

The other steel strap tightener/cutters I've had didn't pull the straps tight enough and died after a couple hundred 'snips.' This iteration appears to be better thought out and certainly better constructed so I look forward to a longer life and tighter pulls. Time, of course will tell, but by the looks of it, I'm certain this is the one.

They work best on the bench they don't do well in tight spots on the vehicle

Was easy to use. Made the job of installing the privacy fence much easier.
