improved over earlier models.
I had an original iO9 that the battery gave out after a few years of use. I liked it and wanted a replacement but didn't want to spend so much. I got it iO3, the cheapest model and have no regrets. I didn't use all the features of the old one anyways. This is perfect as it does the job without all the fluff. I miss that there is no battery meter but other then that this is better then the original one. This model is not as sensitive so using it is much easier, the old one would light up red indicating too much pressure even with only the slightest pressure. This one I can use and get a better scrubbing action as it doesn't turn red as fast. I think this is the sweetspot in their lineup as how needs a bluetooth toothbrush...lol. It does the job at a decent price.

Oral-B Very Dependable, Comfortable, Highly Recommend
I've always used Oral-B, it's the one recommended by my dentist. Only this time, I got there first. This is the best model I've ever used. Softer brush, instant monitoring of how much pressure you're using, and it's my favorite color Blue. If I were still travelling for business, I would have invested in their travel case. I did purchase brush covers just to protect the brushes better. By the way, if you're still using an old-fashioned toothbrush, you may want to transition to this electric one -- it's really very comfortable from the first use.

Best Cleaning on the market but Battery & Durability issues
I’ve tested several electric toothbrushes over the years, including multiple Oral-B Pro and iO models, as well as Philips Sonicare (which, while slightly heavier and louder, still outperformed the Oral-B Pro series). And after extensive comparisons, I can confidently say the Oral-B iO delivers the best cleaning efficiency and overall performance. However, there are 2 drawbacks. First, the battery life isn’t as strong as Sonicare. I typically need to charge the iO every 2 weeks, whereas my Sonicare easily lasted 3 weeks to a month. Second, durability is a major concern. My previous iO 8 and iO 9 both failed after about a year. The battery became inconsistent, randomly dropping from 80% to 0%, making it unreliable. After opening them up, I discovered a design flaw: water leakage onto the battery, which affects all iO models. Unfortunately, this issue has persisted since the first iO release in 2020 and I doubt Oral B will fix it anytime soon. Despite this I would still recommend this iO 3 because of its performances, just keep in mind these toothbrushes won’t last you a decade. Therefore, I would recommend you to avoid paying an absurd price for the high-end iO models. The iO 3 is a better choice, as these should be considered more like disposable toothbrushes with a lifespan of just 1 to 3 years.

Works Great !
Love the design, Battery life is good. It is definitely worth the money. Like the color code if you are brushing to hard. The brush size is good, I would like it little bigger but works great. My teeth feel clean after I am done brushing my teeth.

improves, motivates and times my brushing
The device "stutters" every 30 seconds to prompt moving to another side or section of teeth. Optimal pressure is indicated by the green light indicator while too much or too little pressure is indicated by red and white. Overall, I think it vastly improves brushing and the little multicolor "light show" after 2 minutes is a treat!

Toothbrush stopped charging in less than 2 months.
My brand-new unit, purchase in early August 2024, failed by Mid-September 2024. It just wouldn't charge. The charging light flickers dimly. I thought it was the charging base, so I bought a new base and the same thing occurred. It is too late to return to Amazon. Oral B warranty seems complicated as I wrote to the site recommended after a google search only to be redirected to another site. Its not worth the Hassel and I am sure I have to pay to ship it etc. The sad part is that I already bought spare brushed. I am going to try a Sonic Care or a Burst. My experience is that I just threw $100 dollars (Toothbrush and extra heads) down the drain. NOT RECOMMENDED.
