I know why Fossil dropped smartwatches
This watch says Citizen, but it is a Fossil through and through. (Fossil Gen 6, to be specific) This watch is incredibly frustrating to use. Input lag is horrible, and heaven forbid if you’re downloading something when you want to interact with the watch. It literally freezes up. Downloads are painfully slow, and 50% of the time, remote installs via Play Store do not process on the watch. I’ve yet to see more than 5 hours of battery life before the watch switches to extended mode.Watch faces are gimped because they have “curated” your customization options. So the background color and other colors change in unison – you have no granularity. No dark blue with white text for you. Citizen has decided that is no “on brand” apparently.Calendar does not sync with anything, regardless of the setup process. So, the built-in calendar apps are useless. Google pay no longer exists, so it updated to Google Wallet. This is fine, but when you try to configure a default payment, it wants to use Google Pay through Google Wallet. This really isn’t rocket science. If you’re going to go “all-in” with Wear OS, then do that. This hybrid environment masquerading as Wear OS is broken and inefficient. For what this device costs, the experience should be on par with a Galaxy Watch or an Apple Watch. This isn’t TicWatch or Amazfit – people are willing to make allowances for user experience at their prices, though, to be fair, they “get it” when it comes to UX, generally speaking.Bottom line, if you’re looking for a smartwatch in a more traditional watch casing, this isn’t it.

Mostly good but poor battery life.
👍 It's a good looking watch and phone calls through to watch seem to be clear on both ends. You can do voice to text or type replies to texts which is cool.👎 The battery life sucks. It doesn't even last the whole day. My last watch I only had to charge once a week. Just watch does more than that watch did but still show at least last one day.The waterproof rating is confusing. Says it can handle water being sprayed at it from different angles but I'm not sure if you can actually take a shower or submerge it for short periods of time.

It's alright but the battery just sucks
Pros: very nice looking watch, you won't even know it's a smart watch. I also like the weight and feel of the watch as it just feels like a normal watch as compared to a fossil gen 6 smart watch. I really love the watch but considering the cons below, its a deal breaker for me.Cons: battery life sucks, don't expect it to last a day. Might be good for only 8 to 10 hours with minimal use. Price is also quite steep but I guess that's because of the materials used for the watch exterior. Software is also laggy/buggy. Sometimes it just randomly hangs when I'm scrolling through the notifications.

Cool looking and smart
If I can't be cool looking and smart, at least my watch can be! I just got it, so can't speak to longevity, but I've owned Citizen watches for multiple decades and they're fantastic. You get style, function, and usually no need to ever buy another battery. What's wrong with that? I can't say enough good about them. Oh, and they're a great value...you don't have to spend a fortune to buy one.

Not compatible with Apple
This is a beautiful watch. I wanted something that is much more aesthetically pleasing than an Apple Watch so I decided to give this a try. After multiple attempts of pairing it to my Apple phone, it still would not load all of the features. I’m not sure if it was a watch issue or the App. Either way, I wanted to love it but it just wasn’t meant to work beautifully with Apple.

Slow
The worst watch I have ever bought. I think it is a great looking watch, but it has terrible battery life ( 22 hours top) and I don’t use it much, very sluggish touch screen . My best advice is to do your homework on reading reviews, I wish I would’ve.

Great watch
This smartwatch has the best features and very easy to setup. One the best feature is changing the watch face.

Programmation difficile
Il m’a fallu un grand nombre d’essais/erreurs avant d’arriver à être pleinement satisfait.

Battery life sucks.
Real lucky if you can get 24 hours of use on a full charge. All other smart watches that have the same functions and cost under $100 get 5 to 7 days on a full charge so why can’t this one for the money these cost ?

Looks nice but works terribly. Has been recalled by Citizen
07/14/23 UPDATE: The watch started getting hot and battery would die in under 4 hours. Returned for replacement.10/26/23 UPDATE: Battery life was just terrible and apps weren't working. Got so bad across the board that Citizen recalled the watch.
