its a fantastic design and works wonderfully but after a few games it becomes predictable and the pattern of when it bites doesn't change.

Great game easy to get into my grandson loved it, we all say down and played and had a great laugh.highly recommend

My 5yo son is obsessed with Mario and luigi. He got the mario shakey tower game for his birthday in July and adores it...so when he saw this advertised somewhere....he asked for it for Christmas. After reading some negative reviews I was a bit skeptical, but it was the one thing he asked for, so I got it for him. He was over the moon with it. Its a very quick and simple game. He finds it hillarious. Yes the game surface area is small. Yes 2 characters are just flat counter pieces....but the laugh my son has when the piranha plant knocks you off is utterly priceless to me. That sound of laughter is what makes it all worth it. Doesn't have to be huge or elaborate, take ages to build with amazing figures or bells and whistles.... as long as its loved by a kid who don't look so deeply at the materials, but the innocence of the game....for that, I can't rate it poorly based on my adult view....my son would give this 10 out of 10.

This is a great wee game. We had so much fun playing with it and of course the kids excitement waiting to see who the piranha would catch! Laughs all round x

If you have children who are a fan of the Mario franchise, this is a great gift to play a spin on the "don't wake dad" style board game.The player rolls a die, moves forward the number of spaces shown and presses the button the number of times shown on the square that your player lands on.The player loses if they are "attacked" by the piranha plant.Firstly, its a four player game but comes with fully sculpted Mario and Luigi but then little plastic stands of Yoshi and Toadstool.The game is easy to set up but once it is, it DOES NOT dismantle fully in order to go back in the box.As to why companies seem to do this more and more nowadays is beyond me.I wouldnt say its amazing value for money.Having Yoshi and Toadstool fully rendered and the game fit neatly and compact back away would then be a start.
