I like it, it meets expectations

Efectivamente puedes colocar una tablet de 11 pulgadas y hasta un poquito más grande pero el peso para tablets de este tamaño es demasiado! La base me duró solo dos semanas luego de eso se rompio el soporte donde está la bola… tuve que hacer un ajuste que me inventé para que funcionara…. Creo que si son tablets más pequeñas quizás hasta unas 8 pulgadas funcione mejor y no se quiebre…

This holder is terrible. It doesn't grip the tablet. It just falls right out. The picture doesn't match the actual product. And once I installed the mount to the air vent, it was impossible to get back off without breaking my air vent. Not happy.

Does what it says it will do

Holds my Carpuride perfectly. Much sturdier than the mounts it shipped with.

It holds an iPad Air. The frame of the holder is made of fairly durable plastic. Considering the tablet's price, I would prefer a metal frame for the tablet holder. The tablet holder inside is covered with foam rubber, which holds the tablet more firmly. The tablet holder lock is a manual latch on the back of the tablet holder and I wouldn't say that I like it. I prefer the standard phone holder mechanism - adjustable self-locking and push-pin release button. It was very inconvenient for me to install and adjust the tablet on the air vent, and I was afraid of breaking it. Taking it off wasn't easy either. My personal impression is that the frame of the tablet holder could be made arbitrarily large. However, large tablets should not be mounted on an air vent; they should be mounted on the windshield and dashboard together. It will be much easier to set up and install. For a few more dollars, a more versatile holder could be purchased.

Great for those on the go! I was a little bit concerned at first, as the vents in my dually are tall and narrow, not short and wide like those shown in the pictures. I figured I'd give it a try however. I'm constantly having to swap between phone/map while driving and I abhor having to mess with my phone when I am. This wonderful little gadget has freed me from that. Now I can just put the map on my tablet, which makes it much easier to see anyway, and leave my phone alone entirely.It was very easy to install, just make sure you pull the slide back enough to expose as much of the silver metal 'hook' as you can, slide it gently between the vents and lower until the metal is sitting on the top of one vent, then slide it back until the hook grasps it and let the slide ease forward until it's in place. Make sure the 'feet' below are turned so that the foam backing is resting against the front of the dash, adjust the ball swivel to your desired position, and done! Took me all of maybe two minutes to put it place and adjust it. It's large enough to fit my ipads, and will shrink enough to fit my galaxy tablet.The brackets are made of plastic, but they appear to be pretty sturdy. The ball swivel is nice and once the cap is screwed to it tightly enough, holds everything in place. The feet are what makes this mount great, not only do they not scratch your dash or damage it all, they keep the weight of the tablets from pulling against the vents too much.The test of time will tell just how long it will hold up, but I'm more than satisfied with how it's getting the job done now.
