Great laptop
Great laptop that balances budget, looks and size. It’s still a fairly chunky laptop and heavy - wouldn’t recommend to travel with but great for general admin duties at home, playing games or watching films. The screen quality is excellent and found it does not slow down with a number of apps running. For the money you can’t go wrong at all.

Great laptop for price
This is exactly what I need, I ordered a laptop for £459 first and sent it back because it was awful, this however at £529 feels much more expensive, the quality difference feels like hundreds of pounds better quality. Good Screen, lovely build quality, sensitive trackpad, fast runner. I use for work and general surfing, runs Excel and Word together fine. Sound Quality ok, web cam clear,. I would definitely recommend it’s as good as much dearer laptops. I’m impressed and pleased with my purchase.

A fast processor, low power draw and clear screen Laptop at a reasonable price
The machine is certainly very fast as I have it set up (without an MS account and the removal of most of the pre-installed bloatware which makes any PC sluggish due to the over-reliance on a fast internet connection which is not always available and use of wasteful use of the RAM. The internal SSD storage is fast and more than adequate with 1Tb capacity and the backup to an external drive takes very little time using the USB-C port. While some users will like the illuminated keyboard, I found the keyboard illumination made seeing the key labels difficult as I am not a touch typist - it can be turned off using F7, so not a major probleem. The monitor is clear and responsive even when working in extended screen mode with a projector, and although I do not use the fold-flat capability, others may find it useful. The battery life is up to six hours and Wi-Fi connection fast. It is also almost completely silent in operation. The only two slight niggles are the lack of an ethernet port and the fact that there are only two USB3 ports and one USB-C which means I have to carry a USB-C adaptor to increase the number of USB-C and USB3 ports, plus a USB3 to RJ45 ethernet adaptor. While these are not expensive it would help to have four USB3 and two USB-C ports included as standard. (I use the USB2 port for a wireless mouse dongle.) To summarise the laptop is a good fast machine for general use, giving PowerPoint presentations, editing sound recordings and video. I cannot comment on game playing as that is not something I use it for!

Great Value for money at £319, upgrades needed
The config i purcased for the £319 was the ryzen 5 7330u - 8gb DDR4 - 512gb NVME, 16" WUXGA with the exact notion of upgrading the memory and the SSD myself, most places online state that 16gb is the top for this board as 8gb is soldered on and cant be removed however thats not true, I fitted 16gb on top of the 8gb and its running in a asynchronous Dual channel state and showing all 24gb, Runs very well, the only thing i did not think i would need to change is the Wifi Card, its got a Mediatek wifi 6 card that is seriously underperforming, test fitted an older intel Ax200 card and its night and day. After christmas ill invest in a broadcom 1200ac and ive got zero issues with the system at this point. Normal laptop keyboard, nothing to write home about, trackpad is a bit cheap but works well, i mostly use a logitech MX Master anyway, screen is great for a daily driver and light gaming but for anything to do with image or video editing id want better. Again its all about what you pay vs what you get and for what ive spent so far including the upgrades its still way cheaper than the competition options at £499 for simalar specs. hope this helps
