Better than tablet, less complicated than a laptop, the add doesn't say it fold back 360° with an on screen keyboard which make it mor easier and comfortable to work with. Battery life is okay, you can also use an external dvd drive. But a part of ad says about sim card and stylus which is not for this type (asus cr1100) and finally comparing to a known brand tablet whit the same ram and storage capacity the price is very reasonable .

would be 5stars but it freezes on multiple apps, and battery is not the best, maybe 8hours or so. buy I was working it hard

This is a great machine. I'm an academic in the humanities and find this perfect for all my needs when logged in on Microsoft 365 at work and on the go. I like the touchscreen that folds back into a tablet. I did buy myself a mouse, though. The touchpad is a bit spongy compare to the HP used heavily for 6 years but with the mouse, for daily use, this'll be great. The battery, fully charged will last a full working day plus some but it does depend on what you're doing.

I bought this laptop prior to a trip abroad when compact size was crucial to fit in my travel case. I thought I would need to compromise on quality of screen, WiFi connectivity or processing speed. But not at all. I worked all week on this Chromebook as my only machine and it was an absolute hero. Zoom calls, document creation and management, internet browsing and everything else worked first time. I already use google services quite a bit so it made the transition from a PC Windows 10 environment less of an issue. It synced seamlessly with my g accounts first time. Have subsequently used multiple times when travelling around without any issues. Would also point out that while the keyboard and touchpad are absolutely fine, it was totally plug and play when I linked to an external keyboard and mouse. Downsides? The Amazon ad implied 360 degrees screen rotation but it’s only about 140 degrees. Nevertheless, this is one of my favourite pieces of tech right now and quite possibly the best VFM purchase I’ve made this decade. Update 2024: When I bought this it was only £120 or so. Now it has doubled in price for no obvious reason. Still good value but not the steal of the decade as it was then.

Great little laptop. No SSD or hard drive (uses emmc memory), so data is quite slow to transfer - but this is fine and it's not meant to be that kind of computer anyways. For basic browsing etc mostly only.
