Excellent
A most excellent rollator with a fine turning circle and even rather glam - one of the reasons I bought it: some rollators make you feel about 105 just looking at them. The rollator is perfect but there are things to bear in mind if like me you hadn't used one before. It glides effortlessly over my carpets but it is not responsible for the upkeep of England's pavements, which in my neighbourhood are various kinds of ruggly and uneven, and then it's not so much a glide as a trundle. It happily trundles and is also fine on the local village green type patch of grass. These surfaces do need a mite more push than smooth ones. Using rollators is said to improve gait and posture. I think it does but what that means is using muscles you'd forgotten exist, so best not to go too far the first few outings. If you haven't pushed anything at all recently, your upper body will notice that you just pushed something. It's no enormous deal, it's very light, but I'd say my shoulders/upper back noticed progress along a particularly ghastly section of pavement. It's very easy to lift over a kerb. The basket is great for handbag and folded sticks and also (if you can also walk with a stick or sticks) things you couldn't or wouldn't carry if you were on your stick(s), such as anything heavy like milk or juice. Obviously you couldn't remotely put any kind of serious shop in it, but great for trundling along to the Co-op for whatever you've run out of.

Independent living for people who usually need support whilst mobilising
Fabulous bit of kit, bought for reluctant elderly relative who has poor grip and mobility. Very easy to manoeuvre. Lift handles for temporary brakes and push down to apply the brakes permanently. Lift handles again to release. Very easy to do even with poor grip. Found my father in law whizzing round the kitchen with it after having a knee replacement. Now he can take his cuppa into the lounge himself with ease and no fear of spills. Folds up well for transportation in the boot or back of the car, lightweight enough but is very sturdy enough to sit on comfortably. Easy to assemble by hand no tools needed. Life changer!

Great for getting some independence back with a broken leg.
This rollator has been a lifesaver. OK, bit of an exaggeration, but it’s certainly helped both my mental and physical well-being. I fell and fractured my fibula a couple of days ago and was given crutches and told, in no uncertain terms, NOT to put weight on my broken leg. Well, IMHO, crutches are instruments of torture. If your a chubby, middle-aged, yet active woman, but with poor upper body strength, they are a nightmare. After half a days use I ached in places I didn’t know existed. Plus I fell badly twice and tripped/stumbled innumerable times. What’s worse is that you’re completely dependent on others to feed and water you as you need both hands to move, so cannot carry anything. And stairs *nightmare*... With my rollator, I’ve pretty much got my independence back. I can rest my knee on the seat, hold one handle in one hand and a cup of tea in my other. I can put bits and bobs in the basket, to move from one room to another. It allows me to move around the kitchen to cook, and if I need to sit down, I’ve got a seat right there, that’s easy to get up from thanks to the handles. What’s more it’s nice and stable, certainly when compared to the sticks of Satan. And I can move (roll) about quite quickly too! I’ve actually bought a second one for upstairs. Perfect for trips to the loo in the middle of the night, without falling over, and wonderful for showering. You can put all your clothes and toiletries in the basket to take to the bathroom and sit on the seat to dry yourself. It would be better if both sets of wheels rotated for steering, and I’ve knocked one star off as the item had obviously been opened and returned 😠

Transformative.
My elderly mother and reached the point where she was hardly going out, both unsteady with her walking sticks but also needing regular sitting breaks. This wonderful little device solved both those problems. First of all the walking with a rollator means she much straighter and more upright than with sticks, and feels much more secure and less likely to fall. But then when she needs a quick rest, you pop down the handbrake and take a seat. I was a little worried she'd find the brakes/handbrake hard but she's Ok with both. It's obviously not great with uneven ground but she used it over grass at some country estate garden place we took her too. Just loved it. Walk, walk, walk, stop, look at flowers, a little more walking, then sit and rest. she even used it instead of the chair that was at their little cafe, because the chair was too low. It's easier to get in the car boot, and it's really made a huge difference to her enjoyment of life as it's given her not only mobility but the safety of knowing that whenever she needs to rest she has a chair. If you've an elderly relative who has mobility issues then I can't recommend a rollator more. We bought this one because she was sceptical but it was so cheap that the risk was worth it. So glad we did.

Good lightweight rollator
Bought for my elderly mother. Ordered it late afternoon on Friday & it was delivered lunch time Saturday. Hardly needed any assembly at all. Lightweight & easy for my mum to manoeuvre & fold. Much easier for her than the tri-walker she previously used & having the seat means she can stop & rest any time e she feels the need. The only possible negative observation is the handle height. At its highest, it’s perfect for my mum (she’s 5’5”). For anybody taller, it would not be so comfortable & would probably cause them to stoop.

superb
Fantastic item, well made and solid. Elderly relative loves the new freedom, and is now mobile again after a long period of being afraid of falling. The seat is sturdy and bears his weight when he sits. Definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of buying a rollator.
