early days
Reason for purchase - ruptured meniscus - post op pain (3 years ago - Cheap NHS fix cut off excess instead of traction and stitch in place repair - that's another story)I liked the immediate pain relief and support.Been wearing several hours per day still free of pain, benefitting from support and incredible reduction in swelling.Like being able to turn on the ball/heel of my foot without any pain or tension at the knee joint.Like being able to perform leg exercises without pain.I like being able to practice some yoga exercises again.I'm happy and hope the contraption lasts.NB be very careful when strapping and make sure you fit properly - velcro irritation is quite annoying - maybe consider some elephant tubing.Back to Tai Chi next week.Give it a couple of weeks and I will try running again

Didn't last long
Was great to begin with but after 3 months the elasticity has gone and the velcro no longer sticks and pops open when walking so longterm not good value. Now need to buy another one but won't be this one again sadly

Exactly what i needed
I have dislocated my knee while skiing and i needed something to support me while i started walking again, i was on crouches for a week so i was very afraid to use anything other, but this was amazing, it gives support and safety and its very comfortable, you can wear it whole day and its very adjustable as you can tighten it additionally if needed. I recommend it for post- injury recovery

Feels comfortable
I have been using many knee supports for a few years now as awaiting a knee replacement. This support is good value for money and feels supportive. I have had it a few months now and can say that it is becoming loose but should last for some time. All knee supports do eventually become loose anyways. But very supportive and comfortable to wear, I even use it in the gym.

Confortable for long use, with "tweeks"
I got this knee support after visiting the doctor with a torn meniscus. He showed me the type of knee support I needed, and this was the example he showed. On reciept, it was a little confusing as there are 4 straps to use, but quickly worked it out. There is a closure strap at the top and bottom of the brace, to hold it in position, then two longer straps that add the required amount of pressure to hold the knee in place. They work well. However, the closure straps are the same size, so when you put them together (especially the top one) there is little margin for error, or movement, before you get the velcro rubbing on your skin. I especially had a problem with the top strap, and after a while (an hour or so) it became quite sore. My tweek, was to put some thin material across the strap, making sure it was wider than it. It is a little awkward to keep the material in place, whilst putting the strap together, but definately worth it.Now, I can wear the brace all day in comfort.I have also noticed, I need to retension the top strap after a few hours to keep the required tension, as it "creeps" on the velcro and gets a little looser. However, saying all of that, it is a very confortable (if slightly bulky) device and it certainly keeps my knee supported and minimises any lateral shift.I would recommend it, just add my tweek and you'll be a lot more comfortable,

Great support
I had a hairline fracture and wore knee compression under my joggers /jeans and this brace on top of jeans /joggers if I going outIt gave me the confidence to go out without fear of further injuryA little heavy for indoors but I guess depends on level of injury
