If you're anything like me, you have probably bought many different tripods/monopods or other camera mounts in an effort to cover off your uses. I had been looking for a lightweight monopod that would work for camcorder or camera, that could collapse into a small space. Extensions should lock well with a ring rather than lever that sticks out. I'd bought and tried a few options and finally this one came up in a search, what a find... ultra lightweight and fits in a rucksack next to my laptop, the locking rings are a pleasure and the whole setup is really sturdy. It was dead easy to use and really helped get some great shots. Love it!

A disclaimer: I bought this primarily for use as a walking stick, although I will use it as a monopod from time to time.This is very sturdy, very light (thanks to the carbon fibre construction) and can extend to almost eye level.The reversible 1/4 or 3/8 screw gives the option for direct use with a camera or fitting an alternative head. The included mobile phone holder is an unexpected bonus (and quite well made), but the cherry on the top for me is the walking stick handle adaptor. It can be fitted in one of two positions, depending on the style of grip desired. There is also a handy carrying case included.The only drawback I have found is that when using this as a walking stick, the rubber foot covering the spike on the base of the monopod is NOT designed or manufactured for prolonged use. It wore through to the metal in just a couple of days. After some searching, I found a walking stick ferrule which fits OVER the existing rubber cover and is very hard wearing.Very happy with my purchase, so far.

The stick arrived promptly. Looks very sturdy as a monopod and is a useful walking pole. Saves me having to take both on a walk. Great piece of kit!

Looks good locking mechanism good and lightweight

I love this and think it’s excellent quality. I’m trying to find if you can buy replacement rubber tips. If anyone knows please let me know.

In the short period of time I have had this monopod / walking stick it’s been brilliant, and is and has done exactly as advertised 👍👍

It does what it's supposed to do, nothing to get too excited about. Tripod screw has two sizes, one on either end and it works fine. It does take a while to use the tripod screw. I may later add a quick release plate. They also give you a smart phone mount which I wasn't aware would be included. it is totally worthless, but since I didn't expect it, It's nothing to get upset about. The friction rings have a thin bright red aluminum band which may not be good for wildlife, but you could just paint over the red or use some tape to cover them.Light weight, well made and looks and feels like decent construction. In my opinion a little overpriced, but thats subjective.

This is a fanastic monopod and it delivers everything it promises. I had used it multiple times for filming and pictures but recently, while on a shoot I messed up my knee something awful. Wondering what to do, I remembered that there was a cane handle attachment in the bag that I had almost tossed at various times. "What will I ever use that for?" I thought. Well, now it was a life saver. And it was so sturdy. I'm not a small guy and this monopod converted to a cane that was durable and took my weight. So glad I bought this.

I bought this primarily to use as a walking stick and it is almost perfect for that. I particularly like that it collapses down very quickly. This is great for negotiating airport security and it's compact size when collapsed is great for stowing.I have only two criticisms: first, the grip is hard plastic and not very grippy. They should take a cue from trekking poles and walking stick and use a rubber or cork grip. While the promotion displays it in a trekking pole configuration, I think the grip is entirely unsuited for this purpose. Even with a better grip, I don't think this would be a good trekking pole. It's far too heavy for that. Buy actual trekking poles if that's what you need.My second criticism is that the combined foot/spike is a terrible idea. The spike ends up puncturing the rubber. Better would be separate foot and spike attachments. I notice that this is what they do for the C-666L (which is otherwise too bulky). Fortunately you can find other monopod feet and spikes.

Top Stativ, nur der Trekkinggriff wird in senkrechter Montage unbrauchbar, da das Schraubgewinde sich an der falschen Seite befindet und damit zu wenig Platz für die Hand bleibt!!ein gravierender Mangel? oder wurde nur ein falscher Griff geliefert?
