Excellent!
I tried these after returning a different brand that had inadequate threading. These were vastly superior! The description said galvanized but they appear stainless steel. The threads are set down into a beveled recess and are clean and true. I took the excellent advice of another reviewer and just drove my pipe down on top of a coupling instead of a drive head or galvanized cap. These held up admirably, showing no impact damage at all! My helper reported 345 blows to drive the last 6 ft pipe section to refusal. The coupling is totally undamaged. Highly recommended!

great product would recommend
I wouldn't drive the sand point with them but they do work.

Perfect no complaints.
Exactly what I wanted and needed fits my pipe just fine with plenty of threads.

avoid using these couplers
These couplers appear to be very good quality when coming out of the box. However! No matter how tight I was able to secure them, even using Teflon based thread compound, they would loosen as I pounded the adjoining pipe into the ground. I didn't realize this until too late.it's impossible to tighten them once they are underground.. so i'm completely out of luck. Home Depot has galvanized couplers intended for well pipe that are about 1/2 the cost and did not become loose no matter how hard I hit them.
