I have tried & been disappointed by several different phone holders! The cradles have ALWAYS been fit for purpose but the means of fixing to the dashboard of windscreen have never been secure often falling off. This cradle remains in place & solid. It looks stylish & the phone is easy to sit in the adjustable width cradle, secure & release. This is the nicest phone mount I've used so far. It feels solid and has a nice finish. There hasn't been much sunshine to test windscreen adhesion yet, but it looks as though I can relax. [Previous mounts I've used have had the nasty habit of dumping their contents at an awkward moment, leaving my phone to leap out at me in an alarming way and descend into the footwell. This is especially unhelpful when relying on the device for directions.] I attached the holder to my air vent in the meantime (which is rock solid too, I was very skeptical but may end up leaving it there) and messaged the seller to ask if I could buy a replacement dashboard pad. Krista was super helpful and sent me a new one for no charge, which she didn't have to do! I'll try to clean my dash with something more effective before trying the new pad, but the air vent holder is so effective that it can stay there for now. I love that there's a little switch on the top to secure it to the vent fins. I'm currently using the clamp that attaches to the air vents and it's been brilliant. It's a strong grip on the phone, releases easily, can be rotated so it's landscape or portrait and the gap in the clamp allows you to charge your phone whilst on the move. Very happy. Great phone cradle at a good price. All components bar one felt solid, the cradle grips both my S21 and my S22. Came with attachments (suction cup) for glass/dash or a vent hook. For my car, the vent hook works best. Once I got it installed, no jiggle/no wiggle. I’ve only been using it 3 days but it hasn’t fallen off yet, it’s easy to push the release buttons and slides one-handed and I love it!! Great phone holder!!

At this moment, the mount on the table reminds me of a story and a friend Maggie granted by God. That story made me believe and love this world even more. The car phone mounts are strongly related to our life safety, vehicle and phone safety. And there are so many one-star reviews look like my misuse, which prompt me to write something to future clients for safe driving on behalf of Maggie for less misunderstanding, also to apologize and encourage Maggie. Compared with my last cheap mount with smell and broke easily, I fell in love with this mount at the first sight in 2021. I assembled and installed it easily. It did work great as described, and I ordered another 6 for my boat, pickup, office, kitchen, bathroom and 1 for gift. The story has a perfect start. YRU mount has the advantages below: 👍🏻 1）The Cord Clip！！！ Before I saw this cord clip, I don't know I need it so much. All cords in order bring me a nice mood and driving safety. ❗PS. The cord clip holds my aux cord and my charging cord in place so I don't have to fumble around looking for the cables while driving. It really helps safe driving. Only those who truly have customers in their hearts can design this accessory! 👍🏻 2）The BLACK Sucker is super strong to hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max with a phone case, and it can be removed and reused well with no trace left. ❗PS. My friend has a transparent sucker, which became uncomfortable yellow and melted after 5 months, and the 3M Pad going with his product ruined his dashboard. Anyway, 3M is one-time permanent glue. It’s very hard to remove. 👍🏻 3）The Dual Long Release Buttons!!! They really help a lot. I can touch either of them to release with either of my hands easily. What a considerate product designer! ❗PS. My last mount has 1 small release button. Once I put the phone in the mount, the small button was covered and it’s really hard to bend my finger to touch it. What's even more ridiculous is that I am left-handed and I’m used to using my thumb to press the button, but the button is on the left side of the mount. The words are a bit convoluted, once you experienced it you will get it😂. Another reminder, PAY ATTENTION to the distance between the release button and the clamping arms, the sawtooth of clamping arm of my last mount from other brand HURT my finger, and YRU mount is friendly. 👍🏻 4）The long arm really help me to touch the phone easily. ❗PS. Compared with my last air vent mount, this long armed mount is more flexible at my will. My last air vent mount destroyed my air vent, and it is a little far for me to touch my phone while driving. In addition, the hot air from the air vent heats my phone too much in Winter. Anyway, it’s better to have a dashboard car phone mount. Let me write more about my experience of using many mounts for further clients. ⚠️1. About 3M Pads Mounts）As a permanent one-time use glue, it often ruin the surface of dashboard easily. I think most of the mounts equipped with 3M pads are old version, and their sucker force are poor. And a good sucker might be Sticky, Traceless, Reusable and Air-sealed as YRU. ⚠️2. About Magnetic Mounts）I did like magnetic mounts, until my phone fell off the mount on the bumpy roads, which almost caused an accident. And I found the magnetic force declined a lot in Summer, maybe the high temperature is not friendly to the magnet. ⚠️3. About the material of the mount）How much we paid for the materials and production process per product? I have a friend who has a small factory. As I know only logistics fee per mount is about 5 USD for most car mounts. Others costs include storage fee, platform commission, labor cost etc. That’s why the cheap mounts with low-grade materials are broken easily and have unpleasant odor. Anyway, pls always put the safety first. It’s better to get a dashboard car phone mount with longtime warranty. YRU has 5-year-warranty. I think it’s a confident and considerate promise, which moved me to trust YRU. Back to the story. Everything went smoothly until the mount fell off. I felt so angry and sent e-mail printed on the box to blame YRU with the order ID. I am a person who forgets unpleasant things quickly. One day, I received 3 new YRU mounts inexplicably. I checked my email and Amazon, and found an email of apology with the instructions and sent 3 new different mounts to ensure 100% fitness and was told no trouble to return the old one. What surprised me most is that my email was replied within 10 minutes. Most awkward is that I found they not only sent the instruction before my email but also put it in the user manual in the packaging box. But at the beginning, I thought it’s so easy and no need the instruction. You can see there are many one-star reviews caused by misuse like me. For your driving safety, for less misunderstanding, I read the instruction and summarized my usage experience below: Step 1) If the temperature inside the car＞50℉, the air-condition in car can help. Step 2) Find a flat surface Step 3) Clean the surface with Cleaning Kit in the box Step 4) Press the sucker on the surface for 5 Seconds Step 5) Press the button to lock the sucker Step 6) Leave it Idle for 3 Hours Step 7) Ready for use PS 1. LEATHER dashboard is NOT suitable for ALL Sucker. Pls mount on the windshield or air vent instead. PS 2. Suction cup can be used multiple times. Rinse it with warm water to recover stickiness. At this point, I suddenly realized there are many similar misunderstandings in our lives, which affect our mood, family, friends and colleagues. I'm trying to find the root cause: 1. After experiencing these things in 2 years, now I understood why choosing a brand is more important than choosing a product. J'étais dubitatif concernant l'efficacité de la ventouse sur mon tableau de bord un peu granuleux (Hyundai i30), mais je suis franchement rassuré : ventouse puissante, ça tient très bien malgré les grosses chaleurs, facile à installer, le bras télescopique est très pratique. Le support en lui-même est suffisamment haut et profond pour mon Galaxy Note 9 et sa coque bien épaisse de parano. Cerise sur le gâteau, le double passe-câbles en caoutchouc qui colle très bien sur une surface propre, au moins ça évite qu'ils ne se baladent dans tous les sens. Seul "petit défaut", les câbles les plus fins ne seront pas bien maintenus et glisseront vers le bas. Pas de souci avec mes câbles tréssés. Par contre je ne comprends pas les commentaires du genre "ne se referme pas automatiquement sur le téléphone, il faut le faire manuellement". C'est vrai que c'est tellement fatigant de pincer 2 boutons poussoirs idéalement placés... o0 À acheter sans hésitation si vous voulez un support stable, pratique et solide.

This phone holder is awesome, it fits perfectly on my dash and feels extremely well made. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, especially with the rubber foot on the arm that rests securely against the dash for extra stability. I use a very rugged, bulky phone case and it holds it with no issues at all. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid, reliable mount.
