Merrimen Disposable Mask, 50 Count 3 Ply Disposable Earloop Face Masks Earloop Woven Masks Nose- BLACK

I've ordered 3 lots of these masks over the last 12 months in order to comply with wearing a face covering due to UK government Covid rules. Each lot were slightly different so i've no idea what other buyers will actually receive. They are cheap and cheerful, i've no idea if they are in any way effective at helping reduce the transmission of COVID, but wearing them keeps Boris happy. Like other reviewers have mentioned, I would concur that the folds are the wrong way up (they show the right way up in one of the pictures in the description at the time of writing) not that I can really see it making a difference.

These are reasonably good single use masks. I use them once a week when I have to be physically present at work. (Very well distanced from any other workers.) They are easy to put on and take off without touching the mask itself. There is a flexible wire in the top of the mask to fit to one's nose and the fit at the top is pretty good, though anyone who wears glasses will still find that there is some leakage that fogs up the glasses. They are a bit narrow for my face so it is not easy to keep it under the chin and that means the sides open out too much. No odours are detectable through the mask (though the mask itself isn't particularly pleasant smelling!), so they are probably pretty effective.I have two-ply cloth masks for some outdoor situations which are much more comfortable and have a better fit overall, but they are not as effective as these masks. Takonig everything into account these get four stars.

What a lovely mask, got labelled as a fashion icon whilst bowling about with one of these stupendous masks on. The sleek black design really allows people to focus on your other facial features and enhance the gaze in your eyes as you are in conversation with other people who are much less inferior mask wearers. The only drawback to this mask is the fact that you will need to fight off people attracted to you, trying to maintain that 2m social distance is virtually impossible when people are throwing themselves all over you because of these magnificent masks.10/10 would buy again.

I’m happy with this black face masks. I gave it a try although I was worried because of the bad reviews. So the masks I’ve received are well made, there is no issue with the elastic loops, size or making. There are 3 thin layers (I open one to check!), all the plies are downwards and the nose bit is easy to adjust. The masks have indeed a strong chemical smell but this can be fixed by leaving the box opened for one or two hours near an opened widows. I’ve very sensitive skin, prone to eczema but I’ve had no rash or itching after wearing the mask for two hours. Very happy with this black face mask, I was so tired of the blue ones. I will buy them again and stock them!! Thanks seller!

The quality of the masks are not as good as the first order I made a few months ago. its okay i guess. i will still use them.

It's the third time I order these masks but I didn't expect to receive another product from the same company every time.The first ones were super as you can see in the picture (the ones with white) the second time the masks were not the same, very bad material, and for the third time they are horrible, big and smell very strange plus the box is a lot smaller although the masks are larger than the first ones .Never buy it again !

They did work quite well, but the ear loops tended to tear off at inconvenient times. They obviously weren't attached very strongly.
