I’m always skeptical about luminescent dials, and was about this. That was not the selling point, as this clock sits on a wall that has enough light, even at night, to read the dial. I like the dial, with large hands and indices.However, the glow in the dark still works. Maybe because the clock is exposed to natural light almost all daylight hours. Clock's accurate, and a good deal for the price. I’d recommend it.

Does not work in a dark room. Very nice clock and is accurate, works fine, but not after dark. After dark the clock is useless. Day use is fine. I had to return this clock.

Actually got this clock for a friend and she seems to have a hard time grasping the concept. Lord knows she needed this kind of clock: Big digits, glow in the dark hands AND digits, but she never understood she had to let it charge up either with open windows, or maximum office lights for at least 30 minutes to be useful. Still she loves it. Also seems to be battery efficient.

i originally bought this clock because the thumbnail image portrays the clear plastic face to be convex however the product face is flat. the function is working like a clock and on time. i have the clock facing a bright window and it receives a fair amount of sun however if you dont shrine direct sunlight on it or have a light pointed on it constantly the glow luminescence is faint, which is expected like most glow in the dark elements function. if you are looking for a glow in the dark clock that has no sound looks normal and functions well, this is your clock. have a great time, pun intended.

1. The clock dials are exposed no plastic cover so your child will grab the dial and break it in seconds as your unpacking and ready to mount ..lol.2. The glow in the dark will only last 3-5min tops depending on how much radiant light is in your living space. The glow things is just short lived for 3-5min then its dark and you wount read the time, i know the way they advertised it here you will think it can glow at least for 5-8 hours during the night, nope, you better have a flash light on your bedside to shine at the clock.

Doesn't glow in the dark even after all day in light
