It was a gift I purchased for a friend who was just talking about he liked freeze dried icecream and hadn’t any in years. He responded to the surprise with a text that read, ‘It was amazing’. He said he liked the flavor and the texture was good - better than he remembered.

Not a bad treat for a space obsessed kid, but not worth the price for anything other than a rare novelty

I have loved freeze-dried ice cream since I discovered it in the gift shops of NASA facilities that I visited as a kid. This stuff is delicious. As soon as I opened the box, I realized why there were no scale objects in the product photos: the container is the size of a can of Play Doh, about one cup.

The product looked good but it's in a tiny container. Very disappointing, for sure.

My son never likes sweets and he ate the whole jar, quickly. But that wasn't hard to do. There were about 10 sticks at 2 inches long. I'd guess the equivalent of 1 small scoop of ice cream. Delicious flavor, texture, crunch, but value should be at 3.99 not 9.99.
