I found it was easy to use for testing however I found it hard to set up the meter and have ended up with manufactures setting

Good product contains everything you need with a handy storage pouch, slightly complicated for first time users but good set of instructions.

Like other users I found this a little tricky to set up the date, time etc, as there is no “back” button if you make a mistake so you have to start again. I got it all set up and ready to go, but could not get it to give a reading and wasted numerous strips trying. I just about gave up and thought about returning it, but found a tip from another user which said not to smear the end of the strip with blood, just get a tiny dot on your finger, dip the end of the strip in and allow it to siphon the blood up. It seems I was doing it wrong, using too much blood and overloading the strip. Now I know what I’m doing, it’s easy and I’m pleased with it!

I've recently been diagnosed with type 2 and was advised to get a glucose monitor. As this is all very new to me, I had nothing to go on so just went with the best reviews. The instructions look a little daunting when you first unpack it. I was hoping it was going to be in multiple languages so I'd have less to read!!, but it's all in English. Most of the instructions relate to setting up the display and they're easy to follow. The only problem I had was when the display jumped a step when pressing the buttons. All you do is pop a battery out and start again, you don't loose the information you've already entered. The instructions for inserting the lancet seemed unclear, but as long as you line up any ridge on the lancet with the slot on the pen, it doesnt appear to matter.All in all, I'm very happy with it. It's simple to use and packs away in it's small case. I've only given it 4 stars for accuracy as this is unknown at the moment.
