Highly recommend
Been using snazaroo for years. By far the best facepaints on market. These are well worth the cost, far cheaper than purchasing individually, excellent pigment we paired with a purple and brown for ability to paint most designs

Pink replaced and happy with the colours, not the white
Umm I want to start by saying that I had never painted a face in my life before I used these.I bought this palette for a kid’s party I’m hosting soon and thought it was be a cool addition to do some face painting myselfI did a little online course and I have an artistic background inc Fine Art in college and watercolour landscapesOmg its SO hard!I’ve had the palette for about 2 weeks and I’ve practised a little on my two toddlers and my arm, but I’m still struggling to this day to get the right consistency enough that I’m confident in the applicationThe colours are very bright and I’ve experienced some ever-so-slight staining from the red in particular but I was told about that in the course- its hardly noticeableThe white is pretty appalling and I’m going to source some professional dfx paintIts no good for top-layer line work in my opinionIt seems like I’m there forever- getting it wet enough to make it ‘paint’ but the sponge soaks it all up and I’ve no idea if its too watery or if that’s the right thing?A quick test on my arm shows me its dilutedThe white has also developed some substantial holes upon useLike I say I’m a complete novice so maybe its my technique but I could imagine doing a skull design would be streakyDabbing is fine but its not as smooth as I’d hopedThe pink pan also caved-in upon first use so I contacted Snazaroo themselves and a lovely representative sent me a new one in the post which I’ve received and I’m really impressed by the customer service!!It definitely fits the palette, as promised!I will update this review as I become more experienced

Really good facepaints
I decided for Halloween this year to wear facepaints and go as a scary clown. I'd bought facepaints before but they were the cheap, useless ones so I said I'd pay extra for some good ones. It took me a little while to get used to the facepaints though. I kept using too much water so the facepaints were really watery and going all over my face. I ordered sponges with the paints but I ended up using my fingers because I thought it was easier that way. But once I got the hang of it they were really easy to use. And they come off super easy as well. Just a bit of water and soap and you're done. Way easier than makeup. Also, I've sensitive eyes and have to wear a certain brand of mascara/makeup (BareMinerals) but these facepaints never bothered me, and there was loads of paint around my eyes. Anyway, my sister was also using facepaints for halloween coz she was going as a zombie. She bought the cheap, useless ones in the poundshop though and only tried them for the first time the night we were going out for Halloween. They were absolutely useless so she ended up having to take hers off and using my paints instead. And she's vowed never to buy cheap facepaints again. So all in all, a great buy and Iots of fun. I can see myself using them for lots of occasions, not just Halloween.

Perfect kit for most face painting needs
I have used snazaroo in the past and have always been pleased with the colour payoff, ease of application and how safe it is to use sensitive skin. So, after some research, I decided to buy this product as it had such good reviews. The product is housed in sturdy moulded black plastic. The pans are large; if you have a snazaroo high density sponge, then that is a good comparison of the pan's diameter. It states on the packaging that it is enough for "300 faces" so it should be more than enough for what most people will need a kit like this. The pallet is simple, with a range of dark to bright colours allowing the face painter to create many styles. Of course, with a limited pallet like this, you do miss out on some useful colours like brown, purple, glitters, etc. but some colours can be achieved by mixing.Overall, the product performs as expected, the pans are a generous size, and the portability of the kit makes it something I will be able to take anywhere. If you're looking face paints that will get you through most dress up parties, halloweens or stage performances, then this is for you.

Not the amazing bargain that it looks.
These paints are advertised as the same size as the regular snazaroo individual tubs, however they are actually half the depth. I only realised when I ran out of the white and on replacing it I saw it was only half the depth. This kit is fine if your not a professional, it is better value than the tiny snazaroo packs, but just be warned that it's not the bargain it looks!I will say, after trying a few different brands since becoming a professional facepainter snazaroo doesn't stain like some which is good, however the paints are also quite drying on the skin and can leave your skin feeling tight after washing off. Fine if your just painting a face once, but practicing on your skin, more than 3 times in one go, can leave your skin sore.
