I have another stand that I use at both work and home for my MBP but it isn't practical to take on the long business trips to Asia and Europe I make 3~4 times per year. So I looked at a portable solution and decided I'll give this one a try. It does exactly what I expected and wanted it to. It's light weight, folds flat to easily put in any bag and is surprisingly sturdy.So, this is an addendum to the initial review after having taken this stand on a business trip for 10 days. The stand is fine but it's not as sturdy as I had expected for the MBP 15.4". Although the MBP sits fine on the stand, it does tend to tilt one way or the other when you have your hands resting on the MBP. The upper portion on which the laptop rests is narrower than the bottom so it seems not enough of the laptop surface rests on it. I think this stand would be fine for a 13.3" or smaller laptop but isn't quite sturdy enough for a large laptop. I'll be handing this off to my son when the mBar Pro stand arrives and which I'll take on my next long trip to Asia.

I ordered this so when I am working from home I can use it on my lap. But I was pleasantly surprised when I could use it at my desk too. And the best part is that I worked for over 4 hours from home and my writs weren't tired and I didn't feel any different then without it. Its very light weight and easy to use.If you use your laptop for anything then I think this will be a great buy. It is easy to transport too but for the price I would just by more then one if you need it to travel too.

I use a little old netbook when I travel. I had given my son my old cooling pad because I hadn't used my netbook in a long time. Well, I'm traveling again and needed something. Because these small netbooks aren't really a thing anymore, it was hard to find something that wasn't meant for a much larger laptop.I found this and gave it a try. It's pink and matches my netbook. That's always nice. I didn't really need a fan like the cooling pads have, so this fits the bill there as well. The rubber keeps it from sliding around, sometimes a little too much! But, too much security is better than too little.Not much else to say. It works perfectly and was inexpensive.

I was looking for a stand that was very low profile when not in use. This stand was perfect! What isn't so perfect is that it is not sturdy enough for a 15" laptop. It is too 'wobbly' when typing and just doesn't feel sturdy enough during use. I'm sure it would be ideal for a 13" laptop, but can't recommend it for a larger laptop.

It appears to be cut out of full aluminum or steel so it’s super sturdy. My laptop can finally stay cool! Fully functional!

Ok quality, though it can skid around a bit and doesn't isn't as adjustable as I'd like. But it an ok basic stand.

Very convenient laptop stand, easily folds away when you don’t need it. A little smaller than expected but worked for my 13 inch MacBook.
