Just what I needed!
These are really tight regardless of the packaging saying you don’t need tools to install. Had to use some pliers and a flat head to put them on my ice fishing rods. Other than that they seem like good quality and the reels won’t be moving any time soon!

They are snug
First time using bands on a rod so I went with these. Dont know if I really needed 4 or not but I wanted to cover the reel seat. Read a lot of reviews that said they were hard to get on, and yes they are tough to stretch out, but try this. Turn them inside out, slip them down over the rod pressed up against the handle, then flip them back over themselves so they are right side out onto the handle. This makes the bands stretch over themselves and make live worked it up onto the handle. Did it in a matter of a few seconds once I figured that method out. Hope it helps someone. And I hope they last. That reel isn’t going anywhere that’s for sure. Good luck

Work great!
Work fine. Not the easiest to put on, but if they went on easy, they probably wouldn't keep your reel in place. Just take your time. They'll work.

great for custom rods
They are great for ice rods for holding on the reel to pole. no complaints withs rubber cracking or anything like that. They look great too.

Last resort for attaching my mini reel to a new TCB rod. Mini reel too small to fit reel seat!

Man they are tight
As another reviewer mentioned, these are super tight! My rod handle was not tapered and thus I had to stretch it over in one go. Further, the instructions recommend rolling, this didn’t work at all. I had to shimmy the band into the right position. Once there, it seems to work great in my ice noodle rods.

These bands are tough to get on , but once on and in place they are amazing
They hold the reel securley to the rod and the splash of color really makes them pop!! ( and spot your setup, when fishing in bush along rivers/lakes shore

Tools Required
No tools are required IF you have incredibly strong grip and very small fingers.That being said they were easy-ish to install with a set of pliers to stretch them apart.They did not break or crack like the original rubber bands that came with my rod.
