GibraltarSC-GCSMC Chrome Super Multi Clamp

I can't think of anything negative to say about the clamp itself. I am using it to support my laptop. The finish matches my drum hardware and the clamp is sturdy. I recommend this specific clamp if you are going to cantilever something off a stand as I have. This clamp has much more clamping surface area for the vertical post than the standard Multi-Clamp. By the way that's a Gibraltar 24" curved rack bar in the photo.I am a little dissatisfied with Gibralter's product support however. Their products inspire creative thinking of new ways to use them but they don't seem to want to help you choose the correct products for your application. Emails go unanswered and if they do answer, it's just a canned response.

Great clamp!

I have special needs so I built a custom rack. I went with a no-leg snare stand so I could be more comfortable when I sit and play. This clamp is rock solid like all their products. Once you get it on there and tighten the thing up, it is fantastic. No movement, etc. This is a chrome version of the clamp Gibraltar sells for the no-leg snare stands. I recommend you get one of their wrenches so you can apply enough torque to the nuts otherwise the clamp may shift. I went with the SC=GWK and I would not recommend anything else as that key has everything you need.

Been searching for a cymbal clamp to adjust the configuration on my Alesis dm10 mkii pro kit and finally found what I've needed.

As a clamp this is quite good. The clamp is only as strong as the Roll Pins holding the bolts and hinges, and these seem to be holding up several weeks in. If you are looking for a better chrome finish you might pay more from another manufacturer.The chrome finish is barely acceptable. The finish has all sorts of flaws. The finish flaws aren't helped by Amazon throwing this and 2 other clamps in a paper envelope for shipping with nothing separating the clamps. We needed the clamps and just went with the finish flaws. The Amazon paper bag deal is worst idea ever, everything in every shipment has damage.

Lo compre por qué me hacía falta uno para acompletara mi rack y resultó ser el mejor de todos, pues es más grueso, más firme y me funcionó mucho mejor. Gibraltar es calidad, pero dentro de sus clamps para rack, este es el mejor que existe, fuerte, grueso, cromado, buena calidad, bello a la vista, simplemente genial! Lo mejor es que puedes poner desde una varilla de boom delgada hasta un tom holder muy grueso.
