Wick stem not perfectly straight
The stems for the wicks aren't perfectly straight and if you try to straighten them gently they just break.

Perfect
These work very well for creating a candle where you add the wick after. I was a little nervous about getting the wax out of them, but they are so easy to remove and I use a knife to loosen the bottom and pop the needle out. Would definitely recommend and I will use these regularly for my votive candle making.

Pretty good
These made two sets of votives and then the candles began to stick. I’ll be doing some research to see what might work to fix them, but right now they are all full of wax and there is no getting them out even after the freezer and then melting the bottoms.

Works well with one small caveat
Whether you're making candles as a side gig or a hobby, these are nice to have in your arsenal. The only caveat I'd have if you're considering buying them is that they're slightly tricky to de-mold depending on the wax you're using (one batch really wanted to stay in the mold even after it'd hardened completely). I don't know if this is the product or user error, so I'm not deducting stars for it, but it's something to be aware of.

Breaks easily for price
I'm a seasoned candle maker and honestly I thought this would be pretty awesome for making votives. Turns out I was wrong though, as the metal wick pins break off pretty easily and without much effort. One of them arrived broken so I ordered a replacement. The replacement has already had 2 that broke when trying to pull them out of a candle. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so expensive. Would NOT buy again (or in the first place if I knew what I was buying).

NOT aluminum candle molds. These are galvanized steel. Magnets don't stick to aluminum
Nothing was damaged during shipping as others have reported. I suggest polishing the inside of these molds and use mold release, otherwise it will be difficult to extract the candle. A Dremel will work for polishing.
